Good day fellows Braders & Sisters of LYN forum,

I searched the forum and didn't be able to find a specific thread for ORIS watches. So I decided to open up a thread for it.
This is my first time starting a thread, any wrongs do sweat.gif or misplace communication , free to comments brows.gif

Lets Post , ask , talk , share , opinions , discuss , anything regarding to ORIS Swiss watches..

Any Owner of ORIS please shares your experience or review, opinion as well level of satisfaction of your beloved watches...
as well any person whom plan on buying / owning the ORIS...Please feel free to share and comments as well.

Correct me if I’m mistaken:

Price Range of ORIS WATCHES= from RM 4000 to RM 12000.

Variance Price discount from most of Reseller 10% to 25%.

As for myself, I own two of this timepiece,
1. Oris Williams F1 Team Day Date 2010

2. Oris BC3 Advanced, Day Date

In the first place, I wasn’t aware of this brand recognition branding, just heard of watches like Omega, Tag Heuer, Tissot, Epos, MontBlanc, Breitling , Maurice Lacroix and of course many many more. I was so attracted to it when I passed a shop carrying ORIS brand and took me surprise when I tried on the ORIS William F1, It didn’t take me long and consideration to buy and own it. After few years of using it, didn’t face any problems on it .

I personally, love the movement of the watches, the design, comfort of wearing, materials quality, as well the after sales / maintenance for the watches itself. Pros on the after sales, you can option to modify the strips, bezels, the dial, case back and others subject to specification of your ORIS watches ( of course with addition money ).

Looking forward to get my 3rd ORIS watches:

ORIS TT1 CHRONOGRAPH

u make it sound like Oris will do the Modification for u.
did u send your watch for maintenance b4 thru authorize oris dealer?

my experience isn't pleasant. unlike Rolex where U can get gasket cheaply replaced Oris make U change the entire crown and stem and U have to pay for the part. U don't get to keep the crown and and stem! oh that gasket or rubber only cost RM$400-500 to replace.

Oris has put alot in Marketing, a decade ago the marketing is almost non existence much like Ernest Borel of today.
I like Frederique Constant and Aplina more than Oris.

Oris big crown?
the boy size should be easy to find, its at 36mm if U think its at 38-39mm u're not going to find it. note its on Plexi-Glass and that scratch easily. with tiny scratch u can polish off, deep scratch u have to replace it. depends on luck, last time it took me 2 mths for the stock to come in.

washing hands, water....
why would watch hands be damaged if U buy used??? that is visible. what is not easily seen by the eye is what U should worry about when buying used.
