Hello all, I just got my note 2 last friday at the mid valley launching.. I think I have some problem with the usb cable.. its a little shaky/loose when u plug it in.. I try my cable on my brother's note 1, it fits perfectly, not loose like mine.. it easily unplugged when I charge my phone beside my bed, n I only got 39% battery this morning><..

QUOTE(nicregi @ Oct 22 2012, 05:47 PM) I also noticed that as well. For me acceptable since I don't move my phone much during charging but heck that is irritating if you ask me. If I remember clearly, the s3 plug is better but again..nvm la have to leave with it ni Do u think we can get a replacement from samsung? Ya my cable fits well to s3 too but not mine.. sigh.. it is irritating when I want to charge with my car charger have to keep checking T.T |

QUOTE(merchant9 @ Oct 25 2012, 01:44 PM) By the way is there any easier way for us to use the comma than having to go through Sym everyone? Pressing and holding full stop isn't very friendly either. And question mark too>< Question: Can we actually turn off the shutter sound for our camera? Its not turn off even if I mute my phone.. @.@ Btw, I like the 'take photo using voice' function! Just say cheese!!!! Haha Female user here too, my friend keep complaining about the size of Note 2, but it actually fit well to my denim jeans or skirt front pocket.. size is ok for me but its just cant sms while driving (which is a good thing huh?).. QUOTE(invest2229 @ Oct 25 2012, 02:08 PM) - root the device Thanks for the info.. - Install Root Explorer - nagivate to "/system/media/audio/ui" - rename "shutter.ogg" to "shutter_off.ogg" - Done. Added on October 25, 2012, 2:09 pmNotice GN2 not come with Swype keyboard. Any idea how to install this? but I think the first thing I need to google how to root my note 2 first.. seems like we can do lots of things after rooting our device.. |

QUOTE(Cynox @ Oct 25 2012, 02:28 PM) Root by itself will not have any performance gain. It is those custom roms, kernals, whatever that improve the performance. Thanks for link Cynox.. btw, rooting is safe right?yes, using an Android without root is just using 70% of the potential of the devices. I dun find custom roms is really necessary but Root to me is a must - all my android devices are rooted on day 1. Recommended link for more info on Root, etc - >>XDA Note II forum<<. Read thru the relevant thread thoroughly, if there is any more doubts, feel free to ask here. Coz last time I heard someone say if I did something wrong in any of the steps, my phone will gone.. True or False? |

QUOTE(liondoncefreak @ Oct 27 2012, 02:35am) Just remembered that the Note 2 was advertised to be able to write captions on the back of photos to simulate what some people do in real life, but can't seem to find this feature. Googling didn't bring up much about this beside the press releases. Open your gallery, then choose a photo, u can choose Add Photo Note from the Pull up menu from bottom left..Anyone knows how to get this working? |
