i had the same experience yesterday night..thinking that my S-pen defective and eventually planned want to visit service centre today for check-up(or get the s-pen replace)....BUT, without giving up hope, i giving the s-pen (tip down) a good shake...& it work perfectly back hmm.gif hmm.gif

wow...up to that extend. i did bought a case with magnet flap & use it around a week before i decided to remove the magnet...but never had the sensor damage to date. Only that i have overly sensitive s-pen(not at particular area thou), maybe due to SP that i've installed.
