I didnt thought of this before but my wife got her NoteII with a magnetic flip case.. now the S-pen wont work on the small circle on the screen where the magnet is placed when closed the flip case..

so i recommend everyone dont buy case with  magnet flap to close the flip case.. it will damage the S-pen sensor on that particular area..

wow...up to that extend. i did bought a case with magnet flap & use it around a week before i decided to remove the magnet...but never had the sensor damage to date. Only that i have overly sensitive s-pen(not at particular area thou), maybe due to SP that i've installed.

It is NOT necessary even to do full wipe if you are moving from Android HD to Omega. So far in all my rom flashing, I NEVER wipe data ONLY wipe cache partition and dalvik cache only. I have been doing so moving among all the roms and I have zero FC , no rebooting issues. And do not ever select Format system too - dunno why some users choose to do this

YES

Actually system would be formated when you flash a new rom. So yeah formatting system is a redundant step.

it is already many reports in the Note's thread that magnetic case will potentially damage the phone or at least coz some malfunctions.

Ok. Thanks but i like unrooted phone. Root gnote1 before, had problems. I not know what to do once root. So, better stay away from it. tongue.gif

To the best of my knowledge, rooting will NEVER create any problems . I have been rooting all my phones since day one and yet to find any issues. What issues did you face. Rooting itself will not delete any data
It is only what you do after root that can possibly affect
Anyway this MOD is 101% perfectly safe

I don't know. After i root, gnote1 get more frequent shutdown by itself. I don't know why. Maybe i flash kernel wrongly..

Sod or phone shut down or phone hang i normally associate with UV or unstable kernel or script. Read more about kernel or script that you are using on xda and learn to troubleshoot. Rooting alone will not cause these situations.

Rooting will NEVER and NOT cause such issues. Just reflash your kernel if you think so or switch to another kernel
Frequent shutdown also usually points to possible motherboard issues or once rooted, any 3rd party cracked apps can wreak havoc on your phone system files

Awww...look at the new nexus 10 specification

The Google Nexus 10 will feature a brand new dual-core Samsung Exynos 5250 chipset, whose Cortex-A15 cores run at 1.7GHz. The new silicon is reportedly faring better in benchmark scores than the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro and Apple's custom A6, but we got no actual scores confirming that. The Mali -T604 GPU is also brand new - it should be able to handle the massive amount of pixels with ease. Two gigs of RAM, 16GB of non-expandable built-in memory (other options will likely be available), 5MP camera (you can check out its samples here) with front-facing companion, and full connectivity suite are also on board.
