Hehe... Actually If you follow the Story closely, Rukia is supposed to be as powerful as those high ranking seated officers. If you watch her fighting style, she's actually better then Renji when Renji hadn't got his Bankai yet.

In fact, she could already do some Kido tricks way before she even got recruited into Gotei 13 training.

Somehow, I'm not very eager for them to reveal Ichigo's father yet. I'm hoping more of his friends (Not the currently fighting friends) getting stronger and able to fight along side with all his other current fighting friends.

If he is revealed too soon, then thats one less stupid character in Bleach to laugh at.

Hitsugaya has already overcome his bankai's time limit a lot of chapters ago when they were still on earth.
Besides, his ability to fight isn't what got him to become a captain in the first place... It's his ability in overall in such a young age to reach anything a captain can do, and still being more mature then some of the captains.

Same la.
even if the other captains tapau the espada, there are so many more arrancars which some are near to espada levels.

I think it's just a quick rescue mission. Not really a big war yet.

Well, he was 7th. beaten by a high class and experienced captain...

The 9th Espada were beaten by Rukia. and 10th was Very easily beaten by Ichigo non hollow bankai mode.

Now lets wait and see the 8th espada. Szayel Aporro Granz.

No. No matter if it's forced or not, the shinigami must know the sword's name first then only be able get it's Shikai mode. Then, they must learn how to materialize their Zanpaktou's avater, then master/defeat it before they are able to gain Bankai...

As for why Ichigo can't seal its sword is because it's supposed to be too powerful to be sealed.
