[WTA] How to stream video/music to Xbox 360s

i know we can stream rmvb, mkv........ files to windows media center by installing the codec. But can we install codec into xbox 360s windows media center? All my media files is in NAS. it support dlna.

there is a codec for XBOX360 at XBOX LIVE. You may download from there.

rmv & mkv files are not supported, it support regular divx, avi. Not sure why those files are not support by all console companies, maybe its related to piracy.

just get Tversity bro. i was having trouble with my windows media centre and it's codecs too. installing tversity solved it all. try it.

But I didn't have media pc. All my movie was in my buffalo nas. or can u recommend me a nas come as a media server? Thanks

If your NAS has dlna you should be able to see from your xbox 360 system video player I guess..... But as for playing rmvb/mkv you're definitely going to need a PC in between to do the transcoding.
