the whole thing was a shame. All the players were so lazy. There were no penetrating runs, no ideas and no cohesion at all. It's fine that we lost but to see we play like a 3rd rate football team is very frustrating.

i think they are not lazy just a bit tired. A lost is a lost nothing else we can do to prevent it lets hope they come back stronger after this

QUOTE(Angel of Deth @ Oct 21 2012, 02:55 AM)
Mannone, he just a good shot stopper that's all about him. Never had any command, and cleverness to play in such important position. Kinda like Manuel Almunia. Sometime, there'll be tight and boring affair like this. One mistake could be more than enough.
*
QUOTE(funnyTONE @ Oct 21 2012, 02:58 AM)
I've been observing him quite a while. To tell the truth, I'm not impressed by him. Sure he made some good stops. But he doesn't command his box well. His ball distribution is average at best. And the thing I hate most is when he always throw the ball to the closest defender regardless of how many opponents are nearby. I haven't seen him taking against penalty, but I rate szczesny much, much higher than him. Not that he was any bad tonight, but when szczesny returns, I hope he'll go back as back up.

Added on October 21, 2012, 3:01 amCan't wait to read what arseblog.com has to say about this match. This is what he wrote in the liveblog.

"One of the Norwich players going around telling his teammates to concentrate, think about things. They could probably play the rest of this game blindfolded and still win."

QUOTE(rubrubrub @ Oct 21 2012, 03:01 AM)
I hope for consistency at their best (the invincible era) more than anything really. Oh well, just another weekend with a lot of stress.

QUOTE(ssmuhd84 @ Oct 21 2012, 03:02 AM)
Very sad. After 10 days without arsenal's game..suddenly watched the worst ever performance by them. Y every big boys can win..we still cant manage to get a single point. Depressed!

Badlucks against promoted still there? Pls no...
*
QUOTE(funnyTONE @ Oct 21 2012, 03:11 AM)
Yeah, we're so tired from the inter-lull, everyone else seemed just fine. But not us, nope. Oh man, at HT break I really wished Arsene would shove a rocket up their asses. Its a dissapointing weekend indeed. Thank god we have Sundays to drown in sorrow.... cry.gif
Here's a little fact to vent some anger over Norwich. You guys recall the knee-high tackle against Cazorla in the first half? Well, apparently its the same guy who broke Sagna's leg. vmad.gif

Arsenal were caught short against Norwich, while the top three all won. Are the Gunners out of the title race already?

yea well... we dont seem to have the ability to break down teams when they play ultra defensive. we have players who can play a defence-splitting through pass, but if there's no space to run into we can't play that way. if the passing game cant be played usually a team will try to breakdown the opponent using individual brilliance (dribblers), crossing (crossers and a target man), long shooting and long balls. i dont see any dribblers in the team, crossing has been awful all season long, and long balls really do not fit in wenger's ideology. only santi seems to be attempting long shots at goal.

better don't watch. its like watching our reserved playing. this is a game where we're supposed to take the full point to win the league.

Norwhich were realy the better side last night. Seemed much more deadly in attacking compared to us. Giroud seems to be mis-hitting balls quite often, and gervinho just does the same cutting to the inner box every time.

Carzola was crazy last night, super fast trickery with the balls, but no one to finish off the play.

Why is it podolski comes out for a sub each and every game?

poldi's been rusty for a while now. well i might be comparing him to his fantastic early season burst where he was our goal revenue and that might not be entirely fair to him, but he's been quite poor for quite some time.
