about audio quality, and some technical info

as far as i read, the frequency response got 2 types - analog & digital. want to confirm that when use dac cable connector, the frequency response is digital or analog?

cable between dac and source (eg: music player, phone, or pc etc), or cable between dac and output such as amp or headphones/speakers?

and no, digital does not have frequency response.
digital signals are only 0's and 1's.

hence why a dac is needed - Digital to analog Converter, to convert digital signals to analog signals so that the output can reproduce them.

my bad. is between music player and 1ADAC

if so, I'm started confused. how come sony website mentioned 2 types of frequency response?

you can ignore it.
if the digital only can produce 40khz, no way the analog signal can go 100khz.

and if you think logically:
- your output such as headphones/speakers also won't rate as high as 100khz
- your ears definitely can't hear 100khz

hmm... mind to share the knowledge related of digital signal, analog signal, and how actually they works?
