There are 3 types for this model. One of them is Bluetooth while the other 2 are wired but tuned differently if I'm not mistaken.Headphones SONY WALKMAN® 40TH ANNIVERSARY MOVIE Club V1, Sony Hi- Res Audio

QUOTE(un_id @ Jan 12 2014, 06:51 PM) wow.. must wait for review.. if this SQ at par with other high-end portable amp, why not.. DAP+AMP in one place. furthermore it looks slim and sexy, while other current high-end DAP often looks bulky and ugly Lol, i still prefer AK100/120 aesthetics though since it has an analogue feeling to it... the Z1 has excellent build and is nice looking, but looks just like most of the smartphones out there to me.There are quite a lot of reviews on the Z1 already, some preferring it to AK120. Considering SQ capability with their UI and features, i'd say Z1 is a really good buy. You can also consider the F886 which some said is almost similar with the Z1. |

Finally tried the H1, H2, H3 and F886.
Source: AK100MK2. H1 bass is quite bloated and a little loose. Not much control and tightness. Mids are a bit laid back and treble is not apparent at all. I wouldn't pay 499 for this.. H2 does much better. The bass is deeper, tighter and more controlled. Mids is not forward nor too behind. Warm and smooth presentation with little treble response. Definitely better than H1. H3 has a more apparent treble presence. Bass is as deep, tight and controlled as the H2, though at times It feels that the H2 is slightly better at handling the bass. Mids has a more upper range presence and not as warm as H2. This gives better clarity and details compared to H2. Treble is more apparent and blends well making the H3 more versatile compared to H2. Overall the H2 and H3 is quite enjoyable. Details and separation is definitely not on par with higher BA types like SE535 or W4R, but for those seeking for a good amount of bass without giving up some of the clarity and details from the higher frequency range, the H3 is not a bad choice. However I do find them to be lacking in PRaT when it comes to fast paced songs. F886 has a really sweet UI. Quite tempted to get 1 just for that reason lol. Sound wise I didn't find anything standing out compared to the AK100, but considering I only had their sample songs to test out my impression doesn't really count. |

QUOTE(merajey @ Feb 10 2014, 10:15 AM) After reading your review I have in doubt to buy the H1. Should I or should not expand my budget to H2? That depends on the genre of songs you like and sound signature you prefer? What I hear might be different from what you hear.but for me, given the price of H1 and H2 I'd take a look at other options before deciding. |

QUOTE(jonoave @ Mar 1 2014, 07:14 AM) I'm highly tempted to grab this as most reviews have stated that the H1 seems to be the most neutral-sounding one compared to H3 which can be a bit bassy. H1 the most neutral? I found it the least neutral though, bass overpowering the mids is more apparent compared to the H2 and H3. And the highs are playing hide and seek too. If you get the chance maybe you should try them first. H1 was my least preferred choice. |

QUOTE(joshuachew @ Mar 21 2014, 09:46 PM) damn... waiting for your review comparisons is the ZX1 better than the AK120 as what most head-fiers mentioned? Although it might be slightly different since yours is RWAK version, why not go for the RWAK120-S instead? |

QUOTE(Enigmatic @ Sep 4 2014, 07:49 PM) Had been looking for a music player like the Walkman A17 for some time now. Nothing surprising about that, their flagship ZX1 was also made hereVery likely will snatch one when it reaches Malaysia's shores. Interestingly enough - If you check some pictures, it's labeled "Made in Malaysia". |

QUOTE(ktek @ Sep 4 2014, 09:58 PM) I'd actually prefer touch screen, much easier to navigate and scroll through artists/song list. But for the price no complains I guess. Time to sell my nano and replace with the A17 for gym/jogging use! This post has been edited by Lego Warfare: Sep 4 2014, 10:55 PM |

Is anyone planning to buy Sony's new Z7 or Z5?
They are having a pre-order promotion, which the price for Z7 and Z5 (RM2,399) includes a free A15 Walkman. If anyone is interested in sharing the deal, i'm willing to buy the A15 part to reduce your cost This post has been edited by Lego Warfare: Oct 4 2014, 01:12 AM |

QUOTE(jonoave @ Oct 4 2014, 06:23 AM) Ooh, thanks for the updates. Well it does have a micro sd slot, so it'll give me 144 GB which is still okay. And this will only be my temporary DAP until next year when Geek Wave, FiiO X7 and DX200 comes out The Z5 looks tempting, I was initially aiming for the HBA-X3. But then I thought the over-ear design is a bit uncomfortable with glasses. And honestly, the price of the Z5 is quite out of my range - unless the sound is absolutely mind-blowing. I'm actually more interested in the pricing for the A2, since it has a HD tweeter like in HBA-X3 but has the typical earphone design. Btw, Lego Warfare, are you sure 16 GB would be enough for you? Since the device is intended for HI-RES audio, I guess people will mostly load on FLACs. I have the 32gb F886, and i have a mix of FLAC and 320 mp3s (to save space), and I worry that I might not have enough space soon. But at least the F886 comes with Android and Wifi where i use Music Unlimited for streaming, so it works great for me. Edit: Just checked Sony Malaysia's website, they don't even have the A-series walkman listed yet! |

Wanted to, but the location and timing sucks... it's gonna be freaking jam after office hours. They should have made it a weekend event. Failed stupidity PR...
