All I can say is it depends on ur needs..let say u want a good anti virus app maybe avast..social apps u may go for instagram, whatsapp, line..good luck shopping in play store kinda messy i would say as compared to apple store...anyway my advice not to download too many social tools if u want to remain unroot cuz they might work in background and consume some or more of ur rams...only use those u frequently use..my case I only focus on Facebook, whatsapp, instagram and viber...

it happened twice on friday. that was the first time. then yesterday it happened once. there is no other options besides master reset? I don't really seem to find this solution very practical. It's like spamming in technical support, saying ''REFORMAT la. sure gao dim dy the problem''/ No offence though. I would just want to have a proper diagnosis. Well. I'm pretty sure it is auto off. Since when i press the power button or the home button, nothing pops up. I mean i press once to switch on LED. I mean that is the function of short press right. Only when I press it for a longer time, it switches on back, showing the Lock screen.

I have a few apps that I would want to prevent from running in background processes since I'm not using them. Apps such as LINE or games like GT Academy, Samurai Vs Zombie, Blood and Glory. But i cant seem to kill them in task manager. for LINE, it refuses to be killed. It will auto restart itself in the background processes.

You dont have much choice. Such apps are just badly written, evilly invasive. Even if you set up the task killer to keep killing them wont do much good as they can request to be restarted and if you freeze them, you can't run them without unfreezing again.

And task killers are just bad for ICS and above...
