does anyone know where to get the S3 LTE version? I read that it comes with 2GB RAM

many of my friends find the current version with 1GB RAM is insufficient after some time, with more apps installed.
*
Apps are installed in your ROM aka the 16/32/64GB

RAM is used when many applications are running, but Android will take care of that... Even 512MB is sufficient and barely able to feel the lag. But there are delays in switching apps thou, as lesser RAM the phone will cache it instead leaving it frozen in the background to save RAM.

LTE version, can come to SG and buy, it's everywhere...

The Jelly Bean update will have a few enchantments like:
- Better performance, thanks to Project Butter it’s even smoother and faster
- Reorganized settings menu
- 2 Home screen modes
- New Notifications bar
- Google Now
- Sizable Pop-up play screen

Updated via OTA.

To answer my own question, those who preserve root under ota rootkeeper, just click restore root after the ota update and your root privileges will be fully restored.  No need to do cf root again.

Super stuff this ota rootkeeper app

So:

>Protect ROOT
>Unroot
>OTA
>Restore root?

Same, all filehosting sites with 1 file per hour or 1 file at a time policy won't work for Starhub dwellers like me, most likely the whole area is sharing the same IP...

Downloaded via 3G instead, as 3G IP isn't shared xD

Thanks anyways

What I have noticed after updating to JB, everything was laggy. It feels like the davik cache wad cleared and everything too a split second more to load up. For an example I launched Facebook after updating to JB, it took some time to load. After that It was back to normal. Even transitions lags, but try repeating it again you might noticed the lagness is gone.

Battery life wise, I'd say it's quite close to my Note 2. Improvement of battery life was significant. From 50% battery to 10%, screen time was around 3 hours. I guess it will last for 7 hours of screen time on 3G instead of about 5 in ICS.

Not the worst update ever, IMHO

Dunno if anyone answered you both, the latest version is v6.4 and the ODIN you are suppose to use is ODIN3 1.8.5.
