How you guys achieve mainscreen like this? I will receive my device by next week. Really interested to customize it and all. Already have a look at ParanoidAndroid rom, looks really neat.

May I know what can cause a hardbrick? Messing around with voltage and OC? I don't think I will ever go that far. That's a relieve to know that I can restore back for softbrick. rclxms.gif

Thank you for sharing your troubleshooting steps. Meaning that you only able to do OTA update using only stock rom?

Buy SGP Neo Hybrid. You won't regret. A bit expensive. But worth it. If you want less, go for Belkin.

change kernel . try ur self which one suit for u
undervolt and underclock.
brightness set to lowest.
disable all the apps that sync automatically.

3-4 hours on screen only applied for stock JB? This is my kernel. [3.0.46-cyanogenmod-g30c7db3]
I don't really wanna go to undervolt and underclock unless it's necessary. Already set brightness to the lowest. Thanks by the way.

not really . even the cyanogenmod is almost to stock jb just with mod like battery and all .

stock jb kernel frequency is 600/1000 smt like that .

have u tried trinity kernel or lean? or even franco. test and choose which one is the best for u.

and lastly . use your phone right  laugh.gif

How do I change the kernel? Is it going to be the same like flashing rom? I will do a research later regarding this. Just wanna get a rough idea from you. Will this going to affect the hardware? I obviously don't want to mess around with clocking and such. Not just yet.
