QUOTE(IwanAGP @ Oct 22 2012, 08:19 PM) I feel like kicking you in the ASS. Paul O Brien is a well reputed ROM developer and founder of Modaco. I'm not sure whether he work alone or in a group like CM or AOKP.Try to find an android phone with exact amount of RAM as stated in their spec. 512MB, 768MB, 1024MB etc. If you find it, show me and I might treat you a meal. The disappeared RAM is reserved for the system. Those you can see (695) is for you to use, not the system. Get it? Whatever Added on October 22, 2012, 8:22 pm ........... How could that developer include cracked apps? The Titanium Backup Modaco Plus version and some other apps is for Modaco plus member who is willing to fork out GBP29.90 annually. I'm not sure how he managed to extract it out unless he have the "Plus" ROM version. Titanium is not included in the free version so called pre-baked version. Don't forget about WIFI region code. US 11 channels, Japan 14 and the rest of the world mostly 13.
It has been a long time so I can't remember Yakju / Yakjuxw wifi region code whether there is difference between the two firmwares. |

QUOTE(nitewish @ Oct 29 2012, 12:30 PM) the S3 and note2 got DAC support out of the box, but gnex and other phones still don't have, as far as i know Yup, the implementation in the kernel level still in alpha stage. Although kernel developer can include all the necessary drivers but it needs additional files in the ROM as well to make it work especially the alsa config part.Anyway, why not using an audio processor for the time being.. ![]() ![]() |

QUOTE(Forgotten06 @ Oct 29 2012, 04:38 PM) That app is awesome but I have no idea why every time I skip the song, the volume suddenly blasted to full volume (yeah I am on earphone). Almost blasted off my eardrums Did you use only the app downloaded from Play store or the Nexus Louder mod? I use the latter and so far the volume behave as expected. |

QUOTE(Forgotten06 @ Oct 29 2012, 05:07 PM) I downloaded the one from Play store. Works wonder with Google Play Music but its the loudness that scares me away, sometimes it will remain at the same volume level but suddenly it will blast at full volume. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1748803Mind sharing the Nexus Louder mod? It will be very hard for 1GHz single core 512MB to run latest OS smoothly.

QUOTE(raven143 @ Nov 22 2012, 10:13 AM) lol.. i think google is trolling through the december missing update. custom rom is the way. currently on bigxie's OTA 4.2 ROM. only prob is super battery drain. anyone here knows which kernel has 'deep sleep' ? All kernel has deep sleep. The main thing to look for is how fast the kernel race to the bottom of the cpu speed (cpu governor plays a role here) and which part it spent most of it's time ( this usually impacted by user app configuration and usage), either the top part of the frequency steps / slots or the bottom part. This post has been edited by Bugeca: Nov 22 2012, 11:19 AM |
