QUOTE(Chinzuru @ Oct 24 2012, 01:37 PM) but the i did compare the screen usage with notes and S3, they all have heavy usage. but when i check their screen power consumption, it is only about 30-40%. most importantly is i am now using a 3900mHA battery. but the phone can only last me for one whole day. and galaxy note with 2500 mHA battery already can last for whole day. with sunglobal 3000mHA battery it can last 1.5 day. this is what i don't understand. i already adjust my screen to the lowest brightness and use dark colour home screen.. but seem it doesn't help. Citing a review from GSMArena, The GSM Galaxy Nexus (1750mAh battery) does about 3 hours only on their web browsing test. I'm sure most owners who actually done their research before buying a phone knows the pros and cons of the device. It is indeed sad that the Galaxy Nexus battery is 'bad'. But overall it's still worth it to me I think it's the chipset and gpu using a lot of battery? Look at this Huawei Ascend P1 (same chipset as GNexus) battery life test on Web Browsing, quite similar. http://blog.gsmarena.com/huawei-ascend-p1-...come-out-mixed/ This post has been edited by Eugene91: Oct 24 2012, 02:23 PM |

Yeah not a good idea to always drain the battery too low.. it'll reduce the capacity faster because if the 'strain'.
Reference: BatteryUniversity So I usually use 50% as a benchmark, if the screen on time can last 2hours+ means it's okay This post has been edited by Eugene91: Oct 26 2012, 07:04 PM |

AOKP ROM audio output itself is already very loud compared to stock/other ROMs. Until it crackles my speaker at max.

Let's say my CWM 6.0.1.5 is corrupted, I can just re-install CWM recovery via GNex Toolkit right?

Weird... I reinstalled CWM using latest toolkit..
Still getting md5 mismatch when restoring backup.. Anyways I noticed backing up itself doesn't seem to be working properly, at the end screen flash and back to CWM menu. Time to us TWRP then.. |
