NetGear PTV3000 supports Miracast. Out of stock everywhere. No availability in Malaysia.

previously we talk about android codename, only version number fall under 4.1.x  is called Jelly Bean. as already confirm, Android 4.2 still called Jelly Bean. then Key Lime Pie is Android 5.0?
*
The history of Android has not been long enough to detect a pattern in Google's erratic naming policy. 2.0+2.1/2.2/2.3 all had different names, and were all within the integer. 3.0 was one by itself.

The general rule is if it is a HUGE change, then it's surely a bump in whole number.

Key Lime Pie (name pending confirmation, I hate this codename) could go both ways.

you need to take in many factors to determine the battery life of the devices.

for example : strength of the wifi , quality or strength of the 3g / H ( bad coverage will eventually lead to the poor battery life )

apps running in backgrounds ( email and account syncs ).

everyone use their phone differently.

just my humble opinion.

Thinking of getting an Ap gnex at the moment, what should I watch out? Fakes? reconditioned units? anyone have a recommended shop?.

My job requires a lot of internet tethering/mobile hot spot, how well gnex handles this? thanks in advance

For tethering and battery life, you better go for S3 or note. For this screen size and the older chipset tech, Nexus is inferior to most of the phone out there. And the battery size too. Nexus TI OMAP 4460 is still of 45nm tech while S3 and Note 2 Exynos quad is now 32nm while S4 Krait chipsets are 28nm. Smaller the number lower the power consumption.

laugh.gif Why so rush? Still no much need for it.

Noticeable upgrade is Camera, Keyboard and Quick Setting of which...
Camera and Keyboard is already available at XDA
Quick setting like that is not actually nice IMO coz they use big icons that take up quite much space, not as practical as the toggles by AOKP or CM10. Just my $0.02 wink.gif
