By any chance Oil and Gas career requires programmers and still gets a 6 month bonus? I am currently working in a Bank/Insurance company under Information Services Dept. and the max bonus I get so far is 3 months. I've heard they used to pay 5-6 months but not anymore now

I wished I could actually change industry. Does Oil and Gas company hire IT people?

QUOTE(ju146 @ Nov 25 2010, 10:42 AM) Are u sure telco is the sector which can beat OnG? as per my understanding, telco in Malaysia has reach a maturity stage and the market is saturated. based on research, the growth rate for telco in malaysia is about 3-4%. but the marginal increment can be in big amount (RM). What i am really foresee a good market to beat OnG is banking industry due to the need of risk and compliance to mitigate the potential issue, such as 2008 global financial crisis. I agree on this. Oil and Gas is an all time best paid career, especially in Malaysia. Telco is definitely not as competitive as you think it is. |
