You have to look at your COMPANY PROFILE also. Who do they serve? What are the services?

Technip is more known as a Engineering Design Powerhouse. Apart from revamp projects which have existing plants, you can't visit a site that is in the process of being designed and hasn't been built yet, right?

Lets say you work for Sime Darby, Mechanical / Process / Structural. Your site would be a shipyard perhaps like Pasir Gudang. Because Sime Darby is into the construction of these oil rigs etc etc

For servicing / manpower / product vendors, like maybe Carimin, Control Valve vendor, Drilling workover, you will get a heavy amount of travel in order to visualised the space and get a grasp of the actual place and perform service / maintenance because its YOUR product.

For consulting, you will have less opportunities to travel but still will travel, because it largely depends on what kind of projects you get. Consulting is PROJECT base (meaning work comes in batches and varying lengths of time), unlike servicing which is ROUTINE base (continuous taking into account all your clients).

Consultants may be required to travel to site to diagnose, troubleshoot problems. They may even supply manpower, specialist services like Dynamic Simulation, conduct training, perform Independent assessment of facilities integrity for example.

Do you know how much fish you need to consume to get mercury poisoning?

The maximum pre-lethal dose is 50ppm, wanna know how much is that compared to everyday objects?

is there anyone work in POYRY before?
How is the environment and benefit there?
I plan to apply process engineer. Is it hard to enter?

If you value your time, don't waste it applying for them. They might hire you, but have no work for you. Trust me, easy to enter, benefits not so bad, but there is absolutely no experience to gain.
