hi all, i would like to ask between subsurface and subsea, which one is better in terms of: 1. career path 2. global mobility (i mean to stay in another country and work there permanently/not expat) 3. salary (compare same years of exp)
hope to make the right choice, hence thanks for any advice

QUOTE(Quasar @ Apr 7 2010, 06:28 PM) Subsurface mainly revolves around reservoir engineering, petrophysics, geology, well engineering etc. Subsea is mostly offshore deepwater work, dealing with drilling, production etc. So it's kinda different in a sense. Thanks for the info bro, actually i meant subsea installation/design type (eg modules) of work compared to subsurface (eg well engineering, reservoir) Subsea in drilling operations is another different thing right?
