Added on October 7, 2010, 1:57 pmcontrary to the popular belief of 'all work & no play' in O&G field, there are a lot of career opportunities from support side of O&G.

jobs such as design engineers, proposal engineers, estimators, etc normally not as 'rough' as on the field jobs, but salary wise is still competitive.

also because the nature of work is not labour intensive, normally the 'client' would hire you as employee.
