any rumor of good ong companies recruiting freshies?

Neither me nor my fellow friends get into ONG bcoz of cable.
I got a job with three different company (even my first job) without any advertisement/cable from them.

Some tips for freshies, put more focus on newspaper jobs advertisement rather than online job search (jobstreet, jobsdb, monsters etc) if u guys really wanna join o&g field. The reason is very simple b'cos most of the jobs posted online required few years exp in o&g before even consider your application. While jobs posted in newspaper are mostly suitable for freshies who just graduated and willing to learn.

Chances to get an interview also higher compare to online application. There are thousands online application for a single opening. The screening  process is wide and time consuming. If someone apply directly by mail, I can say his chances for an interview is high.

Freshies need to be more patient. I've even spent 6 months to land my job in o&g. So, you don't think you can simply land ur dream job if you just apply for 2-3 months ago. Believe me, screening process take time as there are tonne's of ppl wanna join this pond:D.  Your application need to stand out among the best in the pool.

have anyone been to the interview for TRAINEE DRILLING ENGINEER @UMW OIL AND GAS?

Got any tips /hint on what to expect? would it be like a structured interview ( with iq test+ group interview + 1to1 interview+bla2) or just a 1to1 interview?
