for fresh...i would like to suggest go to consultant or fabricator....dont go to client such as petronas or shell....because u will not learning the basic engineering.

get experience 1st with consultant and fabricator...and u build ur base...and identify ur interest in oil n gas...

if u have experience both in fabricator and consultant...ur salary will be high....very high....after u bored with engineering design...then u can jump to client such as shell..talisman...or petronas..

ddaniell is right, im also will be working for MMHE (fabricator). report for duty on 1st april. about my SLB interview, im bored waiting for it. have income for a month, gain some experience, etc will be my added points during the SLB interview soon.

its not wrong to try as long you are on the right track.

it think it open all the time. just apply online or go to career fair for fast track.
if u are fresh grad, make sure ur pointer is above 2.8 cgpa. if lower, can make some appeal, they might consider it.
