Hello everyone,
I am currently a fresh grad and still unemployed even after 6 months of waiting since my convocation day July last year. I was graduated in chemical engineering under the 3 years undergraduate course and didn't took part in industrial training/ internship since my undergraduate degree is based from UK Campus, so the internship can be taken as an optional. But then, after obtaining my degree I found its very hard to secure a job especially in O&G as my final result was only Second Class Lower and I cannot provide the interviewer with my internship record. I really wanna become an engineer in O&G industry. I did attend several interviews with O&G companies but it was very difficult to get the reply from them even after 2-3 months of waiting. What I didn't understand is that why there were still no reply from the interviewer regarding my interview status even after a very long time of waiting? I think that they should have told me about the result even if I was rejected. The other things that I would like to discuss here is that how can I get a job in O&G industry with my result was just in second class lower and with no internship taken and with my 0 working experience? I hope that any senior players or engineers in this industry can give me some advices here. I'm thinking about taking a class for process & piping design but not really sure where to find it. There is an INSEP SHRDC Programme that providing the System Piping Design Module but at the moment they don't have any opening yet. I hope that if anyone can help me here, or if your company has opening or management training for graduate pls do no not hesitate to inform or pm here. Thank you.
