Anybody can advise what the owners should do?
I have tried to call them asking them what will their next steps be to assure owners that it the building is safe. They have not provided any valuable response. The only official response they have provided is a crappy message on their website.
http://www.verde-aradamansara.com/home.php
Hardly gives any further information.
Do you think we (owners) should come together and demand:
1. Prompt investigation
2. Action plan to ensure that the building and it's components are safe
Any further suggestions are welcomed. Yes I know that the situation is bad, but what should we do to minimise the effect?
Also they have confirmed that there is already a delay of about 1 month due to the change of main con. Apparently encorp (their old main con) stopped work during the period when FELDA was acquiring them. Hence they terminated encorp and used an in house main con. I've not verified these information, this is what I have been told.
Edit: they also mentioned (as credo_boi has suspected) that it is the scaffolding that gave way. The scaffold was holding a protruding concrete slab (likely a shelter or something, no main structure was involved or damaged) which was just casted recently.
