I just test drive the car in Seremban 3S centre and find the CVT to be somehow jerky - not sure what's the issue. The test drive car only clocks 70km of driving only. I also find the power somewhat lacking - although that's expected for a car with good FC and at this size. I thought Mirage should be better, especially on the CVT.

QUOTE(MR_alien @ Dec 4 2012, 10:10 PM) what jerky? like bounce front and back? or what kind of jerky i dn't even feel jerky, the only thing i felt is the rubberband effect only(bounce front and back) It feels like those auto transmission where there's a distinct change of gear, and induces a very slight "pull-back" feeling. I don't seem to be able to duplicate it as I want though, but it happens like 2-3 times in my short drive (like 3-5 minutes), admittedly the driving pattern is quite abnormal and aggressive for test driving purposes. QUOTE(MR_alien @ Dec 4 2012, 10:38 PM) i think u never driven CVT...thats why CVT and 4AT is very different the speed will have to match the RPM so if u rev higher than suppose to...after awhile, the rpm will dropped back down I have had short spells on my brother's City that's equipped with CVT - very smooth, only slightly annoying at low-rev as it tries to regulate the gear ratio I guess. Well I think I couldn't compare City to Mirage, but I suppose Mitubishi wouldn't be too far off from Honda.
