Just did my 120k service, saw another mirage with 140k service here at PJ.

They quote me 1.1k, check the list & told them no need to change parts that are not yet due. Tolak here and there become RM791.

Btw, your car still having warranty with Mitsubishi? I am thinking after warranty (mine done only 70k+ km / 3+ years) ... not going back to Mitsubishi SC.

Warranty just end on April this year @100k KM, mind to share your bad experience at FA Auto?

I don't know where to find good service outside Mitsu's SC, the only reason I still choose to service here because of the genuine parts, and if u know how to talk to the SA, u can actually get good price for the parts.

my car this year is 4 years. since 2012 nov. waiting for my 80k service. im also waiting want to know where good service. actually what can you do is , ask them to print the service part item for each service due date part list, and go to bintang auto to buy spare part.

Hi all, my mirage is hitting 70k mileage soon and time to service. Same question been asked before, anyone knows where to source original parts? I can't afford to send to mitsubishi service center ady. Too expensive. My experience with kepong SC. Got told my brake pads lifespan finished during my 60k service and was asked to change. I rejected and brought my car to be checked by outside foreman. He said still got 30% left. Now 70k mileage still braking as usual. And also once awhile during service they'll say my car got dunno what funny problem and said need, for example, gasket adjustment then charged me another RM80 or so. Dunno genuine or not.

end up i always arrange my timing to service during or right before the major festival season.. their discounted price can save u alot of money..

of cause, my brake pad is viva size with cost me rm90 per pair instead of mitsubishi's rm 300++

Considering getting a ~2013 Mirage used. Main reason being low FC. Any owners can help answer some questions?

1. Is the FC good in mostly city driving (and jams)? Thinking around the 90% city range.

2. If carrying full passengers (3 back 2 front incl driver) is the space very cramped?
for my family- No
3. When driving alone, is there enough power for short quick speed bursts such as overtaking? (The meaning is, in case of my current Saga, it feels like I need 1km to pick up enough speed just to overtake even at 80km/h)
did you know that mirage power over weight to ratio is really good ? my personal experience for overtaking , toque quite good. definitely better than saga
4. I saw some say that because of the low weight the car can feel too light or unstable at speed, does this apply to regular highway speeds (up to 110km/h)?
unstable for more than 140km/h
5. There were mentions of a flywheel problem but I couldn't find details, what is this?
this is fixed by Service centre now

LYN Mirage owners seem very quiet 

My Mirage to be due for 80k mileage soon, don't feel like sending it to Mitsubishi SC, any good recommendation workshop around PJ area? My concern is the CVT fluid change and original oil filter filter for Mirage, wrong CVT fluid change may cause major problem in the future.

only original is recommended for Jatco gearbox. you may buy yourself. get it from Bintang Auto in kepong area.
