I'm using manual mirage..overall i admit that auto mirage is more petrol savers than manual ones. But the best part is the power of mivec engine is quite goods, also the clucth is light, it is not soo tiring in jams compared to my family avanza. The pick-up is very good, the 1.2 cc engine is more than enough to take the body from 0kmh to 120kmh below 15sconds. (next time i will clock actual time, this time only count manually) even it beats my cousin standards 1.5 myvi on pick-up from still. The power is also sufficient to overtaking, one time from maintain 120kmh(5th gear) i overtake waja to nearly 140kmh smoothly. Also you feel stable at high speed and 120kmh doest feel like 120kmh. Only 170kmh u feel the car like want to fly, scared me a lot only maintain 5 seconds.

Last week going back to trg via LPT, can achieve overall 18km/l for speed between 120kmh - 140kmh (3k - 3.5k rpm).
On my way back from kl to trg, i'm using shell 95 (free full tank from sa), the pick up feel a little hiccups and engine feel not smooth climbing karak. From trg to kl i change to petron 95, the pickups is improves and u can feel more smoothness climbing karak, also engine feel more silent. Next time gonna test bhp 95.

soo far i find that all test drive car is auto...car i test oso auto.

Auto mirage oso okey laa, pickup and overtake less ummph than manual but more relaxing drive and safe petrol summore. For me, driving long distance with auto is quite boring and sleepy, that why i choose manual, furthermore i ride mirage only for weekend and balik kampung, everyday going to work by kapcai... biggrin.gif

Based on my exp. , shell 95 give u more mileage but sacrifice power due to more addictive , petronas 95 is average on mileage and power but engine feel loud and not smooth when rev 4k rpm. Best is Bhp 95 followed by petron 95, Bhp smooth n power for the engine but less mileage than Petron95. This is based on my avanza, for mirage only twice refuel, 1st shell95, 2nd petron 95.

High five bro...manual is the best way to feel the power of the engine...The little 1.2L engine has a really nice sound when you accelerate hard. Yeah,my 1st impression when getting my car is how good the pickup is, the power to weight ratio for this car is the best on it segment. Oso manual ones weight less than auto, 850 kg vs 825kg.

The diff. between auto n manual mirage gearbox is the tech. used. Auto used INVECS III CVT gearbox and manual used 5 speed transmissions. Both Powered by a new 3A92 1.2 litre three-cylinder engine with MIVEC, this DOHC three-pot unit makes 78 PS (at 6,000 rpm) and 100Nm of torque (at 4,000 rpm).

I just want to share with you all, that if you are interested to get Mirage, i recommend you this SA from Bangsar. her name is Frescia. She is very nice and helpful. and Patience also. And she always do more than her capabilities for my convenience. So please Contact her and tell her your requirements and she will help you. I think so far she is the best SA ever

i prefer mitsubishi over toyota, sounds bias, but i like their brand rather than toyota, but no one can beat toyota hybrid technology yet, i mean, the quality

I also prefer Mitsu over Toyota, Mitsu also better in handling IMO... and their car also very reliable!
Btw last time I visit car show at Alamanda, then the Suzuki Swift SA came to me, then I ask what different of Suzuki Swift and Mirage, he keep on telling me Mirage very small, 3 cylinder not stable and very shake, corner very bad body roll... say till Mirage like so cheap...

Then I feel tired to bother him already whistling.gif
Like Bullshitting only... I see Mirage and Swift size also abang adik only... not much different... he keep say swift very spacious
