I had a bad SME set too. Not easy to convince the dealer to exchange one to one.
My set bought from directd (Extrovest). Bought in the noon..return to them at 5pm, showed them screen problem (line across the LCD). As expected they refused to change, told me to return to Samsung service center. I said..I have not even use this device and I need to return to service center?

I suggest they exchange for me and claim that faulty set from SME, 'we are dealer..we cannot return faulty set'. I find that ridiculous. Faulty product cannot return to distributor, is that a joke?
After much negotiation they agree to exchange it but I have to return 2 hours later as they have sold out SME set.

I wonder if I would have got that SME set during roadshow event, where do I go back for a one to one exchange?
