Why take trouble to go and download a prerooted rom as you need to download a 900MB file ??? Just use any of the 3 tools available - chenglu, or chainfire root or Toolkit. Download only few minutes and flash another 2 mins kautim

I think my Odin detected the wrong USB port.
Googled and I have even uninstalled Kies...
Upgrading through Kies is a risk, it took so long and only completed 11%.
Odin is the easiest method but can't seem to work on my computer...

first time I heard to flash via odin, you need kies installed as well in ur rig 

When i use the music player, while playing a song, i went into the soundalive and try to choose bass boost option but error msg came out "current sound effect not supported by speaker". Is it normal?

I did. In fact tried for two days and got so frustrated, just uninstalled it.

USB driver is the easiest yet I stuck at the final stage.
Tried gazillion times.
Last try and I will say goodbye to this thing, wait till it is officially pushed to me on phone to update.

correct me if i'm wrong.. i remember from the days of my previous samsungs, it was advised to uninstall Kies as it "dislike" Odin. So, install Kies, u will get the driver, then uninstall it. then only use Odin.

btw antu_biskut, what happen to your Note GTN7000 ? Jual already is it ?
