I wonder if there are any iPhone users here who bought and used the Note 2.

Go to service centre and ask for replacement. Charger should be silent without any sound coming out.

Luckily mine doesn't come with charger and USB cable problem.
Touch wood la but will monitor further.

Black or another gray..i think. Or use naked is the best.

Guys i've off the notification on facebook, whatsapp, LINE, and talkbox BUT why its still running in the background? Is there a way to make them 'wake' only when i open the app instead of running it in the background?

Applied the Liquid Armor to my Note 2 before bed last night. After applying and letting it dry, you won't feel anything on the screen. I'm only using a back cover for the phone so let's see how good the Liquid Armor in protecting the screen

For certain apps..you have to close it properly or need to log out. Otherwise it will keep on running in the background.

Worse will be edges if want to be naked please get a bumper at least

it will , but the battery life is the biggest problem.
more power , less battery use state life.
this is the biggest problem in mobile.

and cant wait to play MOH:warfighter......

I had a bad SME set too. Not easy to convince the dealer to exchange one to one.
My set bought from directd (Extrovest). Bought in the noon..return to them at 5pm, showed them screen problem (line across the LCD). As expected they refused to change, told me to return to Samsung service center. I said..I have not even use this device and I need to return to service center?

I suggest they exchange for me and claim that faulty set from SME, 'we are dealer..we cannot return faulty set'. I find that ridiculous. Faulty product cannot return to distributor, is that a joke?
After much negotiation they agree to exchange it but I have to return 2 hours later as they have sold out SME set.

I wonder if I would have got that SME set during roadshow event, where do I go back for a one to one exchange?

I need to log out in order for the app to completely close. Quite leceh if everytime wanna check whatsapp have to relog all over again.

My Note 2 not detecting the SIM card... but it's kind of weird. Not sure if it is my ISP (Celcom) or the unit

1. Tried my celcom sim on galaxy s3. - Work
2. Tried my friend Maxis sim on galaxy s3. Work
3. Tried my friend Maxis sim on my note 2. Work
4. Tried my celcom sim on my note 2 - NO SIM

Whattt isss gooooingggg onnn? Anyone having this? Is it firmware update? is it cut version of the SIM? or is it just a faulty Note 2?

can't wait for the release of Otterbox casing for Note 2...i don't mind the weight or bulkiness as i work outdoor & always on the move. currently use Verus 2 in 1 type.

yes.this is the correct way to close an app.
but as i read in wiki , android there is a "watchdog" to close those app while not running for certain time.
it seem not working for some app, or it nv work b4.

Try take a rubber to rub the metal pin on the micro sim sometimes it might effect this

im using ipad.all i can say is that android is more flexible compare to ios.photos transfer,editing,music transfer is much more easier with note2.n it is as smooth as ipad2.im using stock rom on note 2. hopefully i manage to give you some bried details between the two devices.
