Looks like many users of NoteII here.. im planning to have 1, just saw my friends unit.. looks cool grey titanium with flip case 140 he said.. saying got chip inside that flipcase, which comes with back case.. it means the original back case you can keep..

how about white colour, is it get yellowish in long run ? sorry to ask such question i never used any smartphone before.. keke

My friend said said the current first batch of NOTE II, manufactured at KOREA and next batch will be coming from CHINA.. and might have issues.. so better get the first batch.. can identify from the code whether from CHINA or KOREA... im note sure about it... anyone aware about it ?

i kinda believe in that, because previous few of my friends bought S2 and S3 when first launched which from KOREA..the phone perfomance solid.. and later another friend bought S2 manufactured at CHINA, he really had nightmare..lots of issues till he complained and get refund then bought RAZR.....

so im not sure how far its true for NOTE II............

You can see the country of manufacture under the battery
All these talk of China i'd say is baseless

for the yellowish issue most of us note 2 here are not even 1 month to know

Even they made in china the labour are from there if you do your research iphone all are assembled in china.


Some units here are i heard said their are from china

some made in korea but battery from vietnam

as long as the phone don't have problem then can already, why worry so much ?
yet, a lot things also made / assemble in china, you can go see a lot electric appliance also made / assemble in china

Nobody knows exactly where it is manufactured the first batch. My AP set (UK ) was manufactured in Korea and all accessories in Indonesia while my other SME Maxis set was Manufactured in Korea and all accessories in China

i don think there any diff between what made in china and korea. The only diff would be the final quality control. All the parts are made in china and later shipped to korea to be assembled. The other most economic path is to assemble in china since the parts are from china. Lower transportation and higher production rate

The made in korea doesn't mean all the parts inside are Korean made. What you can be assured by that word is that Samsung is doing the final checking instead of some OEM assembler in china.

i been to a shop once when i ask "this made in china?" the shop assistant give me an simple answer "what thing is not made in china". The painful truth
