Finally got my grey unit from Maxis. While setting up, l bypassed Dropbox. I understand that we get 50GB free space for 2 years with Dropbox but I signed in as existing user. How do I get my free Dropbox back?

Ok here's what I did.

While the iPhone Dropbox is still logged in, I setup my Dropbox on the Note 2. I didn't know the Dropbox screen was part of the setup.

After I login I realize my Dropbox only had 2GB. I unlinked Dropbox from both devices and try again with Note 2. It still showed 2GB.

I'm worried now. Please help.

OK, this tweak requires some manual work every time you wanna watch latest TVB series. Anyway, I'm also using this method for my iPad and it works. I'm using it when I'm connected to WiFi. I don't think my mobile network is suffice for my usage.

1) Go to settings>Wi-Fi
2) Tap and hold on your connected WiFi
3) Modify network config.
4) Tick on "Show advanced options"
5) Proxy Settings - Manual
6) Proxy host name - 218.201.21.178
7) Proxy Port - 80
8) Save

Go to your PPS and you shall see the latest TVB series. Happy streaming!

p/s: Not to worry our Samsung keyboard is so smart, it will remember your manual typed IP address. Next time you type "21" then it will recognize this IP address. Else, you can save in your S-Note for the IP address and port no.

p/s 2: I noticed that even if I have turn off the proxy, I still can watch my TVB series the next time I tap into PPStream.

Anyway, remember to turned off the proxy if you are not watching because it is a China IP address.

I'll monitor this thing from time to time.

wow the internet on maxis 3G + Note 2 is just superb i didnt know its connectivity is on of the best now

today test is only on 3G network heavy usage since 8.30am till now. Its 20% already now.

sifu is useless even they upgrade because it is to get LTE ready not improve your current line. Furthermore its 1800mhz. Only solution they have if they can combine with other telco sharing there is a possibility like umobile with maxis.

This speed i am getting on maxis in KL area without fail and the line is very stable

btw the above speed is achieve from a prepaid 500MB and not postpaid yet
