if kena different spot, why can not repair?
*
the new spot can patch up, but due to continue driving for awhile after the tyre puncit, caused damage to the old spot, started to leak air and then cannot be fully fixed back cry.gif

what? shocking.gif
but my ATRs still in very good condition..

QUOTE(nzh0920 @ Oct 21 2012, 12:09 PM)
bro, your mileage that high?? until finish a pair of tyre d?  blink.gif
*
no la it's just one of my tires kena nail and damaged to the extent of cannot fix back, so had to change to new tires. cry.gif
not good to just change 1 new tire as the left/right side wear will be very uneven, hence changed both sides.
previous tires just had for around 15k mileage only, hence the remaining two ATR still in good condition

QUOTE(selinix @ Oct 23 2012, 08:00 PM)
Guys need some suggestion on tyres that some of you are currently using on 17" .. 215/50/R17..

I am planning to get the Neuton but now the seller say no more stock.. Budget around 200 - 300+
*
Now i have both ATR and Neuton NT8000 on my ride, 225/50/17.

ATR bought around April, RM275 each for that size.. so far gone 16k mileage.
great grip while dry, so-so while wet, car will "glide" abit to sides if hit standing water on a straight road, but at that price i'm not complaining.
main qualms is the NOISE.. i find them very noisy... i travel outstation alot and noisy tires is bad for me.. probably won't go back to these tires unless i upgrade my soundproofing. cool.gif

then last week kena nail and had to change 2 new tires, tried on the Neutons at RM285 each.
now i have these on my front while a pair of the better condition ATRs went to the back.
Just gone through 1500km so far and i like it more than the ATR, noticeably quieter, and more stable on wet roads. thumbup.gif
corners quite well also but i haven't tried cornering full-out yet cause they not yet got run-in..

Thanks for the comprehensive review. Don't think i will go for achilles, seems like the noise is really bad
*
yea and lala's standard soundproofing is "insufficient" to say the least makes it even worse..
the rumble going though sections of concrete road on the highway... rclxub.gif rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

Morning guys,

I installed my rims yesterday and the seller recommended this center hub ring thingy to place at the center of the wheel to somehow "stabilize" the wheel. But he told me is up to me and is not 100% necessary so I told him maybe not for now. Just wondering, is it really needed?
*
i have it.
when i installed my rims+tires the workshop give the rings to me FOC saying it's good to have it for a better fit.

Hi Inspira sifus.

My front right fog lamp is broken, probably hit by stone on the highway.
Found out from Proton Edar, it cost rm1200+ to replace one !!!!! :-(

Also asked my mechanic to source from his supplier and he says it's around rm800+. He's also amazed, why it is so costly for a fog lamp!!!!

Has anyone faced the same issue before? Appreciate to have some suggestions on what's the cheapest option to rectify the broken fog lamp issue for Inspira?

Thanks. :-)
