QUOTE(vincentleong @ Oct 28 2012, 07:20 PM) Thanks selinix, didn't have that contour spec. Is 225/50 R17 a safer bet? I'm thinking of changing the reflector headlights to projector (non-LED) too but staying on the stock bulbs (are they tungsten or halogen?). Is that doable and anyone here sells aftermarket projectors? There are a few places selling this, google wts threads. Mostly are oem taiwan units with smaller lens as compared to Evo X ori projector headlamps. Cost less than 1K per pair. Quality is questionable but if you use back halogen bulbs, its going to be quite dim. Those driven waja with halogen headlamps would known this problem, many opted brigher halogen bulbs but these bulbs don't last long. This is why projector lamps are meant to work with HID which can throw the light further and with the lens accuracy, it won't blind on coming cars. U better off spending that money on real mods..

QUOTE(miuk @ Oct 28 2012, 07:40 PM) Do y mean real mods like LEDs and stickers? Damn real and serious mods ok.... to our TS.... Added on October 28, 2012, 8:03 pmQUOTE(vincentleong @ Oct 28 2012, 07:48 PM) Hehe, thanks XCInspire, I'm disposing of my Waja and I was wondering if there's a way to throw the light further without blinding oncoming drivers. Is HID JPJ-compliant? I'm not into messing with the engine but I do have a few minor mods on my mind. Arm rest, sunglasses holder, tire pressure monitoring, hood sensor, scuff plate, autofoam, headlight level switch, folding mirrors and tweeter! Any of these items need to book in advance? Yes, its illegal but what the heck, life is short... many using it more for safety purposes... For some of those mods, pm nzh or kopykat k3... some need to order. Come to our weekly tt to look see those modes mentioned... This post has been edited by XCInspire: Oct 28 2012, 08:03 PM

QUOTE(aminmh @ Oct 28 2012, 08:22 PM) Err, comfy? Vely subjective aa..For me if comfy of course la stock ones..but acceptable comfy but got control during hiways n cornering, braking n maintaining speed thats my aim.. No need pm lor.. I used 7kg front n 5 kg rear..but the time taken to test, long hours traveling, giving feedback to titan n retune the dampers will mk a diferent..my humble opinion... cheers. Thanks for your info. Yes, that place ain't near. Am thinking to use stock springs with titan abs. Seems to be a comfy setup with essential cornering control n eliminating floaty lala feel. Planning a group buy on this. We got some ppl poisoned di. Gb open for all. Pm me, nzh or miuk for details n pricing. Silent readers and readers from the 'other' camp welcomed to join.

QUOTE(aminmh @ Oct 28 2012, 08:51 PM) I think miuk already posted the price. Unfortunately i couldnt get the gb price hehe.. Yup, its a good idea oso to use back the ori spring, as long as titan can know the ori spring rate n fine tune the dampers accordingly.. But they are expert in these.. I used to see they used back the ori spring especially on big suvs n mpvs where titan coilover not suitable. But ask them again, if not mistaken they need back the old ori abs/damper for them to get the springbase n attached it to the new damper body..coz every car has their own spring size n diameters so quite difficult for titan to make a new spring base or tapak n incur cost too. So the fast n cheap way is to get the springbase from the ori dampers n fit to the new monotube dampers... Do confirm back with them kay. Yes, in discussion with Richard about this setup, he needs the ori front dampers as stock spring diameter bigger, he needs the "cup" mould. Best thing is he mentioned still can do ride height... So can have cool lowered look if u want... Oh ya, he no longer uses that pillow mount that may cause issues with sound etc... Even Gab dun recommend. U only need those if u want to angle u chamber more than 2 degrees for track or drift. Nzh, dun bluff, I saw one pic unker richard giving you classroom training with whiteboard... if not interested ask so much for what? This post has been edited by XCInspire: Oct 28 2012, 09:06 PM

QUOTE(nzh0920 @ Oct 28 2012, 09:13 PM) hard , but can absorb bump well, for me i cannot accept the jumping issue, still need to find tune... the persona that we test with stock spring setup, not that sharp handling compare to richard's car, but still sharp. absorb bump quite good, best part is without the jumping issue when u doing low speed like most or the car equip with linear spring ( small straight roll spring ). overall balance quite good. Better than lala abs right?

QUOTE(nzh0920 @ Oct 28 2012, 09:17 PM) eh, even miuk himself admit that his brother opt this setup for his car is damn stiff okay? only u said it is comfort Eh, I did not say comfort ok.. I said sedap n solid, kereta lumba feel... cornering sharp n precise... I likey... but now wanna try comfort setting after almost 1 yr with gab. If want more solid feel later, ask unker richard mod it... thats the beauty of hand build abs... This post has been edited by XCInspire: Oct 28 2012, 09:26 PM

QUOTE(Freakystein @ Oct 28 2012, 09:40 PM) Any gab ss user can comment on the difference titans abs against the gab ob your car? Someone asked for gab owner? I'm changing to titan soon... u say leh? Anyway gab rebound rate is slower and cannot be set. Example when going over humps a little faster than usual, ur front tires hasn't rebound fully over the bump, thus the tires will 'crash' land giving you that harsh thud feeling. Gab is off the shelf product. Other than that, gab will still give you a good handling car over corners n all. Titan is hand built and can custom set both rebound and compress (damper rate in gab) to ur own liking. Spring rates can be chosen too. Go try the demo car. Its quite subjective.
