the prob is my sis never service their car at proton and now need to bear all cost. shit! the mechanic also mentioned about oil sump but he guess that it will boost up to 2k. why the hell it must be 2k?

If engine interior parts damaged, then of course the price will go up.

He say MAYBE is the oil sump leaking? did he check anything before giving you a quote?

I can only speak from an Inspira point of view.

Yes, engine oil also free.

Up till 60, 000 km if i remember correctly.

Or was it 50, 000 km.

Cant remember if the 60, 000km is for the 3 series or the inspira, but its around there.

Some ppl think they are very the smart, hear other ppl say SC service cost a bomb, so pandai pandai send to outside workshop to save a few bucks and void warranty.

Tapi diorang dunno jack about cars, so car gone case and they blame the manufacturer.

but proton have database customer servicing car....

Mana ade. They look at your service booklet for record and stamp only. One SC would not know what you did in another SC, they only have record of their own customers.

If you have good relations with an authorized SC, you can get them to stamp your booklet to keep your warranty.

what is wrong with our world now!!!

What's wrong is that your sister decides to be smart and send the car to outside workshop.

New engine without engine oil drive 1 hour also gone case. New engine from Proton costs RM12k+.
