QUOTE(bonnhh @ Oct 27 2012, 06:25 AM) Hi, apart from that, i got free insurance, brake lock, goodies and full tank. cant recall anymore else. I am planning to get a new Mazda 3 2.0sedan (new facelit) and recently I drop by to Bermaz and the best offer they give will be RM2,500 cash rebate + reverse camera. Anybody here get a better offer? |

QUOTE(DaBestOne @ Nov 6 2012, 11:35 AM) Anyone of you guys have bent rims and fixed them? It's weird that every time when I send my car for alignment and balancing, the technician will tell me that some of my rims are bent. I'm using stock 17" CKD rims by the way. oh no, I have not do any alignment nor balancing for my car for 2 months. Better send my car for alignment and balancing check tomorrow 1st time alignment and balancing- one rim was bent. 2nd time- another one rim was bent 3rd time, yesterday- technician told me all four rims are bent It cost around RM70-90 to fix one rim depending on how badly the rim is bent. Seeking advice with the technician, he told me that the CKD 17" rims are JRD brand, which is made in Malaysia. It's more fragile and tends to bend easily even with hitting small pot holes Another reason for the tendency to bend is the lower profile tyres. The tires are too thin to provide protection to the rims. In return, I asked, if 45 profile is thin then how about BMWs who mostly use tires with even lower profiles like 35? The technician then answered me: "Yes, they memang bend a lot... but BMW owners are rich." WTF Am considering changing to 18" rims but the technician warned me despite the rims are tougher compared to stock 17" JRD rims, there are still high chances that the rims will get bend My question here is, any members here have the same experience as me? Send your car for alignment and balancing and you are informed that you need to fix the bend rims EVERY TIME? Just want to know whether this is a normal thing or is it just me with bad driving skills and love for pot holes |

hi bro lucifal,
i purchased a pack of tribos shampoo and tribos spray from service centre. noticed that there is a layer of gel on the top of the bottle for the tribos spray. that gel could not dissolve after several shake and remain on the bottle. is that normal? I have checked with the service centre and even other stocks they possess are having the same issue. |

QUOTE(lucifal @ Dec 31 2012, 10:55 AM) good to hear that!! at least my penny is not wasted.Added on December 31, 2012, 5:19 pm QUOTE(merk @ Dec 31 2012, 10:49 AM) just asking fellow White M3 drivers here, what products do you use to wash your car? i got the low alkaline shampoo and tribos spray from SC. i have many greysi stain especially on the frame next to wind screen. It can be removed by spraying the tribos spray and wipe it away.My White M3 has greyish/brown stains even after washing. Need to wash then only it comes off. Any advise? I am not sure can we wax our car or not since it tribos coated. perhaps bro lucifal can answer us whether it will damage the tribos coating or not. QUOTE(ice-green-tea @ Jan 13 2013, 05:04 PM) Wow that's too much bro, if I were u I will question the sc whether this sensor is detecting "lightness" or "darkness" in order to turn on headlights... agree! mine is FL model. It does not switch on like akasya 8am-4pm daylight but it does occasionally switch on when it is not so sunny but yet still bright especially during cloudy day. not sure do u experience it or not. |
