Cool! Smoke coloring means the light's glass become darker?
What material is it for smoke coloring?

For me first thing will head for tinted shop. Then go DK leather for Nappa leather with red stitch.

hmm.gif hmm.gif hmm.gif

Tinted and leather also a good idea actually.

But scared car ready on 30th Jan.. sweat.gif

So, no time to drive around as it will stuck in tinted shop for days. sweat.gif

Do you mean warranty? I asked before, my SA mentioned it is 3 years or 60,000 mileage warranty and free maintenance (inclusive of free labour charge). Additional spare parts, wear & tear will be chargeable.

CBU from Japan shouldn't have any issue. thumbup.gif

Oh, latest news. Speaker is normal speaker. Bose speaker and active drive will come in second batch in high spec model. And it will be CKD.
Well, I will wait for the car to arrive before signing anythings. What about you guilt79?
*
I suspect they will bring CBU 2.5

That will have active drive, dual air cond, leather seat, Bose sound and others same as current 2.0

I'd still take the car. If wait for additional features, the next thing, realized I have waited 4th gen mazda 3.

Yea, I will still go for the CBU too. Don't really need the HUD. And I'm not a big fan of audiophile stuff, so without the BOSE speakers is fine for me. Leather seats can be upgradeable at accessories shop, hence not a big issue for me.

The only disappointment for me is without the auto cruise and dual air cond features.... anyway, will try to live with it. Sometimes we just can't have the best of everything, sighzz
*
Nice one bro. You're the man.

But seriously. Bermaz will kill themselves if they do CKD 2.0 with more features.

As far as I know, Bose sound system don't have distributor here (is it?)

So, the news of cruise control, Bose sound, active drive, sound like they planning to bring CBU M3 2.5

I think that will cost around RM145k-RM148k

In my opinion,

Dual zone is good but not really important because Malaysia weather, not really relevant..

Auto Cruise is good but 80% in city drive, not relevant because traffic problems. Even if during holiday, go cuti-cuti Malaysia, you'd still find our highway is jammed. tongue.gif

HUD is good for bragging and show off, sadly not featured but still ok.

Bose sound system is a major letdown. Was looking forward for it and currenty can't find anyone here to install it.. sad.gif

For the BOSE distributor, this contact is from the website. Or can go check which car accessories that sells BOSE product smile.gif
*
Nahh.. Even got distributors to install Bose, won't go and do it.

Afterall, normal speakers still ok. Kinda wasting money just to go install Bose.

What I most looking forward is:-

1. i-Eloop

2. i-Stop

3. AFS

4. 7' Screen with commander switch.

5. Active Display (sadly no.. sad.gif)

The rest not so important to me. Even without keyless entry, fabric seat, no sunroof..

But i thought the seats are electronic adjustable? Or that reserve for 2.5?

Then, 2.5 probably cost RM148k

For the price of RM139k, if the seats are manually adjusted, I would be extremely disappointed. It's like we are going back to primitive age!!
*
You can choose Altis. The driver seat is electronic. rclxms.gif

QUOTE(Vinceyang @ Jan 16 2014, 01:28 PM)
I feel you bro. auto cruise, rain sensor, reverse cam I can live without it. However without Bose (9speaker) is big let down. Information from SA is that normal speaker is Panasonic (6 speaker).

Electronic is quite useful for me especially if come with memory function.
*
I thought memory functions only reserve for D segment cars.. Good to have but not a important.

Can't wait to see how it looks like in real car..

Hahahaha..

I just read Paul Tan about Mazda 3 comment.

Everybody complain and complain and complain about overprice and cheap parts.

I wonder, did they know that we are sooooo behind other countries? Our RM is weakening.

Bro, the car and the technology itself is great. Just that the price and the feature that comes with it does not justify.
Plus in NAP 2014 will have a lot of incentive for CKD car. so it is better wait for CKD high spec IMO.
*
Ok.

In my opinion, CKD is cheaper but the quality built is not up to standard.

No doubt CKD will packed with more features and same price but I'm not so confident in local assembly. Just my opinion.

If you drive a CKD car, you know what I mean. icon_rolleyes.gif

But the sunroof, is manually, Oklah. After all, beginning, sunroof is not my wanted list. tongue.gif

Well I haven't seen the car yet since Penang branch don't have. Do you mind to share your opinion on the actual car built? like dash board design, material feel, door closing feel etc., does it feel premium like conti car? compare to M6?
*
I can't answer you this about does it feel premium like conti car.

Seriously, I haven't sit on a conti car so no comment.

CBU is better than CKD. Without doubts. As for the interior, the photos we see in Mazda 3 USA is more advance than us. The air cond panel feels like B segment car. Lots of emptiness felt. The seats is comfortable in fabric but don't feel premium. The sunroof have to manual close. Didn't try to open it though but believed if you press the open button, the inner slide will open as well. Only manually close it but if you don't, you got a moonroof.

The dashboard panel is hard but can feel a bit soft, better than the previous gen Altis. The steering is good feel but I guess all steering is the same anyway. Seat need manually adjust, that feel like B segment here. Boot space is quite small actually. Nothing to shout here. My honda city is more spacious.

Back seat is comfortable but quite cramp. Probably because of the window panel small, feel tight. Again the fabric seat is comfortable but doesn't feel the premium conti car here. I sit together with another guy and think behind is suitable for 2 adults and a child. Child must sit middle.

The only thing I'm concern is the DRL. Somehow, the DRL seen onRyosuke photo is more like small headlight switch. Unlike other DRL that is really only DRL on.

So, bro. I can tell you. This car feels like a ordinary Japanese car. I got this feeling like sitting on B segment car, only bigger. But the dashboard panel isslightly better than Civic or previous gen Altis. If you want premium conti car, I can't think of any right now. Switching to Mazda 6 is a better option.

If I can afford, I also will switch to Mazda 6 but alas, no money, so stick to M3. blush.gif

There, that's my opinion. Ask yourself why you booked the car in the first place. Then you know. There are lots of disappointment but still, it's a beautiful machine.

One thing, Mazda 3 don't have DVD player like new Altis. So you can't watch DVD.

It also don't have the surround sensor like CX 5.

So, I'm calling my SA tomorrow on when can I get my car.
