I'm not surprised.

If CKD, will probably got leather seats and reverse camera.

Other than that, don't think will be better than CBU. If yes, Bermaz will get F&*K.

You see the CBU Polo 1.2TSI vs CKD Polo 1.6L

strip a lot on CKD.
*
Not to mention to those hidden area like material, dashboard material...

So CBU is better quality in comparison.

That's why. I know the car is limited and if you want to display our car, at least get our permission.
*
Well, the good side of it is that the car get in a air con room with out direct sunlight. tongue.gif

The bad side is they some time allow some customer to view the interior of the car. (Including me) tongue.gif

So, after chasing the salesman for days and weeks, in the end, my car can only get after CNY.

Stupid salesman!!!

Do you know how much hassle I have to go to get the things moving and I just joined new company this month.

I already curi-curi keluar for 3 days to rush for it and now only to say after CNY.
*
My salesman told me no trailer to send my car up north due to CNY doh.gif then I say I go kl pick up the car, then he say can't. Really dun know what they're doing

I have to agree with you on this one. Most of the car dealers won't keep the customer cars in the showroom or warehouse for long or else they won't have space for new stock.

Should blame the effectiveness of government. Even when you go in person to JPJ, you also have to wait few hours as many people rushing for CNY and those admins taking their time to do it.
*
Look! They have the whole week before CNY to arrange car up north for puspakom. If they know cannot make it in time then why even bother to send 1 car up north? And after arrive, that car just sit at showroom and wait for ppl to knock knock here and touch touch there. Why?
The car is not official launch why put in showroom to let ppl view?

Dont making assumption if u dont know what is going on!

So you are getting offended from my no offense post?  doh.gif

I am not sure how long it going to take for Puspakom check but it is ALWAYS a high volume before the festive season. You have to queue up like everyone else. Moreover the Puspakom have those free vehicle check for everyone recently so the delay is expected.

Then the registration number. If you do it yourself then you can get the number 2 days the most. Runner will need 3 days the minimum as they have other dealers too. You should know that there will not enough of manpower(especially in Gov section) before the festive season right?

And with the new MySikap system, that is a pain in the arse to deal with. New procedures with more steps to follow.

You, as a customer have the right to put anger to the dealer but dealer still can't change anything if there is something beyond their controls. If you have found out the dealer purposely delay your car then yes, throw your anger to them.

I am not affiliated to to Mazda but I roughly have an idea how it works as motorcycle dealership is my family business
*
Hehehe.. I not taking on u bro.
Just that I dun like bermaz treat their customers like that. Their use diversion tactics like saying puspakom and trailer, while on the other hand they display customer car in showroom during CNY.

Oh yeah! The HUD! That was one of the features that got me hooked! And the Bose speakers. cry.gif

Anyway I'm still proceeding to buy it after finding out our Japanese friends are getting the same Sedan specs anyway (except ours are 2.0 while theirs are 1.5).
*
That is a sad thing, our 2.0 spec is only on par with Japan 1.5?

Then later our 2.5 spec is same as their 2.0?

Car arrived. Display in showroom. Got the privilege to sit in, play the gadgets and see what functions m3 got but cannot drive back home...  doh.gif

Better ask to get hild of the key, otherwuse dun know who else is going into the car to okay around.

In a sude note: close examine if the front v shape chrome, u will notice it slipt into 2 pieces like M6 as well. It is not a big deal, but why don't it make into single pieces like CX-5? I really don't understand.

CKD high spec with higher price ?? I always though CBU unit will have the better spec but highest price (like CX-5).
But March will only have official release for Mazda 3. So the CKD spec will be release during that time ?
*
Well, looking at the CX-5, the difference is bose speaker, sunroof and 1st batch 19 inch rim.

New M3 does not have bose to begin with, sunroof is persinal choice and rim might be remain same. So it does not seems like u lost out a lot. Plus they might add in reverse cam and cruise control. So u actually gain more.

QUOTE(agent8411 @ Feb 7 2014, 09:05 AM)
emm. dunno how to explain it since the only car that ive driven for a quite a long time is only Vios and 2nd hand Wira. and i would say the handling is very much much better than Vios (the steering wheel is much lighter than vios when took cornering). didnt hear the road noise ( maybe due to loud music - but i've read it mazda3revolution forum, one of the main factor of road noise is due to the tyre Dunlop used). suspension is quite good when went trough bumper and bad road.

the dashboard also feel quite lower than my chest (probably can just adjust the seat height). But yes, they do feel much more premium than vios of course.

also the i-stop and i-eloop display (on the 7'' display) is quite good and functioning when ur car stop at traffic light. back room is little bit bigger than the previous model (last time when i was in my friend's mazda 3 previous model, i cant pickup my handphone when i accidently drop it at the back seat - this time i can pick it up and i am quite chubby)

didnt have the opportunity to use the paddle shift. control knob is good, smartphone bluetooth is also good (functioning well w Iphone) . GPS need to install the SD card (the SA kept it in office). audio speaker is good.

love the smart keyless entry system. only put the remote key in pocket and u can open ur car and start the engine without removing it from ur pocket.

the sun roof is also good (Open only by pushing the button once but close you need to hold the button - this is to avoid the sunroof from damaged during close due to resistance from wind while driving).

really hate to see the right side of the steering wheel empty without any command button - this is where it supposed to have auto cruise button.

too many things to put here. haha  smile.gif  smile.gif  smile.gif

*this is my personal opinion la bro*
*
Good review. Thanks.
it makes me more and more worried that my car become test drive unit!

Nice review. I also test drive before CNY.
Very nice the car. Handling, power, interior very nice. (Currently driving Myvi and City, so the handling sure better).

I-Stop function very well. Once you stop the car, the I-Stop will kick in. Just like hybrid car. And wont feel delay when you accelerate. Not sure the I-Eloop feature, coz cannot feel the different.
Central command is very convenient to use, specially you want to change the setting during the drive. No need to move forward to press the screen.

Interior. Although not given leather seat, but the seat is very nice to seat on and very soft and smooth. The material kind of water resist. No power seat is one disappointment.
Same also very upsad that auto-cruises not included.

The engine for this batch is original setting which is with compression ratio 14:1. This will give more fuel efficiency and power. But with higher compression ratio, the fuel quality must be good.
Although ron 95 can be use(minimum requirement). But need to plan carefully for future fuel price (if no more subsidy from gov).

Overall very nice car, just in dilemma should take this CUB batch or wait for CKD. By paying RM 140k, there are still alot feature were not included (Auto-Cruises, Power Seat, Leather Seat, etc).
And lastly, the 18inch wheel will be very pain when next time replace tyres. (Estimate RM800-900 per tyres).

All welcome to share tough and comment.
*
1. Auto-cruises is only useful when travel in highway a lot
2. If you the only driver then power seat is hardly used
3. Leather Seat can go DK leather can customise own color tone

There... solve your dilemma.

The real deal breaker is reverse parking cam, bose speaker and HUD.

DK leather. They just wrap the old fabric or replace the seat? How much is it cost bro?

and i think reverse camera can be added later rite? Even the Auto cruise, i have once read it from Mazda canada forum, they can add it. But that one for previous model.
*
Bro, here is the number +60 3-8064 6600.
And the leather wrapping is compliance with the side-air bag which discharge from the seat.

The only question is who wanna be the first new M3 customer for them to take measurement and make mould.

HUD i think hardly will be include. Survey other country spec list.  The HUD only for 2.5 highest version.
Dont think wont so fast import and sell in Malaysia. And the price sure very expensive.
For RIM, i think will down to 16 inch. Coz only 16 and 18 inch rim provided for other country.
But curious why Malaysia mid spec also give 18 inch as this size also for the highest spec in Aus/Jap/US
*
See, you answer urself dy. tongue.gif

And I mention before in this tread, Bermas must have study the market and find out that those who buy Mazda is suckers for exterior looks.
That's why exterior features is fully load while short change for interior features.
