Drove back from Kemaman to Kuala Terengganu using the new LPT highway today to test the top speed Mazda3 can get.

Result is quite dissapointing with only 210km/h top speed and it maintain eventho tekan paddle minyak sampai lantai.

Do they installed a speed limiter for the new mazda3?

how bout other owners? What is ur top speed that u can get?

but last time, my farther punye Vios 1.5J can go up to 195km/h. But not confident to take corners or even drive down the hills with that speed. Not like Mazda3 where feeling very confident to take sharp corners.

only refer to speed from the speedometer in vios. Btw from the speedometer, the max speed written is 200km/h only. Mazda3 is 260km/h.

But the feeling when u drive 195 km/h with vios is u can feel it is quite dangerous. Maybe becos it is not built for that speed (handling, tyre size, car weight, etc). So only dare to drive it at top speed only at straight road.

BERMAZ rep called me just now, confirm there is a promotion package for the new owner of Mazda 3 of free leather seat or RM2k rebate.

and they also confirmed that for the 1st batch owner also will get the promotion, however they said that maybe more on free leather seat than rebate because we have got the car earlier.

and they advise us to call our SA as they have sent the memo to all dealer about this matter.

Anyone can share pictures of the installation process of leather seat and quality of the leather seat? Need to choose either leather seat or rebate.

i stop can be quite annoying during traffic jam situation. ur car will start/stop engine frequently and only for a short time so i think thats why they give the off button.

even the traction control system also u can off from the button if u feeling u want to drift on Karak. haha

auto lock setting is only setting for when u park ur car and u want it to auto lock when u r 5m away from ur car so u dont need to push button at ur door or remote button to lock ur car.

usually for me, istop will activate by two methods

one, when ur gear is in D, when u stop ur car, u need to press the brake at certain force (it will indicate on ur screen, page fuel economy), then istop will activate and engine off

two, when ur gear in N, u dont need to press brake at all and istop will activate and engine off (unless ur car moving becos on hill or something, istop will not activate)

istop will stop activate also depends on temperature.

Anyone havin problem with playing songs from USB Thumbdrive for their 2014 Mazda 3?

Mine works ok at the beginning with 100++ songs then when I add another few hundred songs (all of them totaled 400++), the player kinda freeze and restart itself everytime when i plugged the USB.

When i remove the USB then its working fine.

anyone havin the same problem?

USB used : 8GB Toshiba USB2.0

Have formatted my USB thumbdrive a few times already, seems like it have limitations of how many songs u can put in ur USB thumbdrive. if more than 150++ will cause the display to slow after detecting the USB thumbdrive and then restart for a few times until remove the USB thumbdrive. sigh

format my pendrive again w FAT32 mode and add only 168 Song into it. Luckily can play the music in Mazda.

theres like some limitations of total songs that u can play thru USB pendrive.

not sure if play it using ipod, aha, or CD
