Skyactiv is a green engine.
Thai's government give many incentive to lower down the price.
Last NAP, the government mentioned priority ll be given to EV, I think M3 skyactiv should be included.
Hope CKD, add many acc & price drop

mazda ttdi. but the one that i test drive is the car that i will get and they did not put it on their shop for display.

Auto cruises never try before. So still is a mystery for me to explore.
Driver power seat still can acceptable. But in the previous display unit at One Utama. The seat also come together with memory seat. Donno will include in CKD or not?
Leather seat not that fancy coz will cook my ass because offen park under the sun.

HUD i think hardly will be include. Survey other country spec list.  The HUD only for 2.5 highest version.
Dont think wont so fast import and sell in Malaysia. And the price sure very expensive.
For RIM, i think will down to 16 inch. Coz only 16 and 18 inch rim provided for other country.
But curious why Malaysia mid spec also give 18 inch as this size also for the highest spec in Aus/Jap/US

Im contemplating whether to let them tint my car and do a 2nd layer somewhere else or just forget about skytint and do it somewhere else.

Just got my M3 today. M6 CBU last batch all sold out. Next batch will be here on June, might be CKD. I can't wait that long. Chg ' ed booking to M3 white and got it immediately. Ride is superb so far, except the GPS map - inaccurate at Sg Buloh area.

Mazda 3 is my choice if compare with current c seg vehicle. Better handling which on par with focus. Outstanding exterior and new tech. Biggest drawback is fabric seat and expensive OTR price, you can have a new accord basic spec with the money you spend on mazda3.

New Altis and 408T not bad as well.

What size ? Cap ayam brand can get rm500++...

My SA recommended me the Cool world 6mil security tint for 1.2k.. I was told Mazda authorized tinting brands are only Cool World and another brand (forgotten) it's name..

I was also told tinting by other brand could void the warranty if the process wasnt done right.. and there was once,  someone's Mazda 6 went tinting with another brand and water leaked into it's electrical compartment,  damaging the motherboard and voidingthe warranty as well.

I tested the new Mazda3 today. Being 120kg lighter than Mazda6 2.0 gives it a far superior pick-up. But the initial sluggishness of upon the movement is still similar to the Mazda6. On the go, it feels faster. No surprise here as Mazda3 is smaller and lighter.

It is also very nimble, light on its feet. I did not test too far, but during some of turn near Besraya highway it feels connected and dynamic. Mazda6 is a very good keen handler already compared to the cumbersome behavior of some of its competitor, but shifting back to my car after testing Mazda3 makes me feel my car is lazy.

Driving position is spot-on. The low dashboard also makes the cabin feel airy and gives excellent forward visibility, unlike the tall dashboard of Mazda CX-5/Mazda6. The fabric used is not bad at all, not like the "towel-like" offered by some follow Japs competitor. VW Golf GTi also comes with fabric seat, and this ain't cheap fabric that adorn the B segment cars.

However, I suspects the car will have some road noise that is also associated with Mazda6. I guess this is the philosophy that Mazda takes and one will get used to it. On the rough road, the tyres are noisy. The noise suppression level I suspect is intentional. Perhaps it is cost cutting, but surely this is not due to the inefficiencies in engineering.

I still remember when I tested the new Civic in 2012. Subjectively, Mazda3 feels better in terms of steering response. It is more snug inside than the Civic, but the plastic quality is almost similar (soft touch on top surface, except rear door trim) and hard plastic on lower section, but Civic gets a more techno plastic texture which makes is subjectively feels less expensive.

It is pity Mazda decides to hide the exhaust, there's two exhaust outlet lurking beneath the bumper. Strange combination with the sportier 18" alloy.

The only grievance is, does RM139k feels well spent? If you like car and like driving, yes it is worth spending.

However, for me, if what one wants is just a tool to move from A to B, with C segment size body dimension and space, and when the body dynamics and steering feel does not matter, head somewhere else.

Similarly, if one feels the subjective matter such as steering feel, body control dynamics and perceived speed feeling given by the excellent driving position and interactive car-driver relationship is less important compared to the objectively valued money spent and its tangible benefit such as leather upholstery, electric seat and cruise control which can makes one feel worth the price, also please head to other option where most Malaysian do.

How come the 2.0 Skyactiv in Mazda3 has 14:1 compression ratio? I thought the Malaysian, Thailand and Indonesian cars are retuned to 13:1 compression ratio due to "excellent" fuel quality....

It matters to Mazda6 owner only, as u guys get more power and torque due to higher compression ratio. 10hp and 10Nm counts.
