Do MMU itself offers merit scholarship? (not through third parties like SinChew, TheStar, etc) o.o Just wondering.. and is the website not updated (2013)??
I checked the FAQ section and most of the dates (entry..etc) are written 2012

Only 50%? Is there any 100% tuition fee waiver offer? Unfortunately I couldn't attend the open day.. it's too far from where I live now.. sob. Im hoping to see MMU counsellors/agent at the upcoming Penang upcoming education fairs. I've been checking stuffs regarding the courses from MMU since last year.

By the way.. maintaining a cgpa for more than >3.67, is that even possible? 3.67 out of 4.0 right.. (3.67/4x100 = 91marks)? sounds hard as you need to maintain along the study period.. If couldn't maintain = termination of waiver?

I got straight As in my SPM, and I'm looking for creative multimedia scholarships to apply.. MMU bachelor of creative multimedia - media art is what I want but unfortunately Sin Chew and The Star didn't provide any scholarship for the specific course I stated from MMU this year (It's available last year, but this year suddenly change.. maybe the course is not getting any good response or what?), only animation & visual effects (foundation to degree) is available..

Thanks Human nature, are you a MMU student too? Some friends of mine told me that there are some foreigners (from Nigeria) are studying in MMU cyberjaya, is this true? And there are lesser Chinese students there?

And actually there's a Nigerian added me in Facebook recently... I can see that he's an Electronic engineering student but has a passion for design (haha). He's studying in MMU too... he's quite polite too (ask me about some stuffs regarding photoshop, as he's from dviantArt), can type a perfect english as well.. but I was like kinda freaked out when I saw a friend request from a dude from Nigeria at first. Haha. But after we chat for a while, everything seems to be fine lol. Nothing weird or suspicious from him... this changed part of my 'stereotype' mindset too.

There's internal scholarship which offer 100%,
O.o some colleges like tunku abdul rahman, UTAR, they provide 100% scholarship for those who scored >9As but there's a condition which is the student must score more than a certain CGPA, like the merit one you mentioned in MMU.

It'll be really really stressful............ your CGPA marks are like your health bar...... and slowly consuming you and turning you into a walking dead which only fights for CGPA, friendship and any other stuffs is worthless for you by that time, most important shit is the CGPA. (lol jk, im thinking too much ) I don't even know I can go through this or not if I'm the merit scholar...

Sigh TARC and UTAR replied my enquiries on the merit scholarship issue today morning.. I'm still eagerly waiting for replies from the MMU staffs..

I received a call from The Star yesterday, I'm shortlisted for the interview which will be held in cyberjaya campus on the 25th of April..

I never been there before... transport is another problem for me.
I wonder anyone can help me out, should I go by bus or train?? I'm from Penang btw.
The person from the star told me to go to the reception there and report myself 11.45am.. I dun even know where is the reception lol Damn

Btw any tips on the interview?
I wonder who will be the interviewers.. lecturers from MMU?
And my spoken english sucked.. going to have a pretty bad time there

I'll be traveling to MMU alone, maybe will stay one night in my relative house in KL for one day. I think the reception will be in Faculty of creative multimedia since I'm applying for FCM course (foundation->degree) there.. I will get a confirm answer tomorrow anyway.

I arrived @ mmu at around 9am, my aunt fetch me there from KL by using MEX highway,
since my interview is at 12pm.. so my aunt just drove me around the uni and have a look at the environment and buildings.

to be honest the interview was quite.. relaxed and more like a casual chat for me lol.. There are 3 interviewers, all of them are in a good mood, happy face so not that scary as I imagined haha (I think I'm the last one to be interviewed the chancellor unit reception lights and air conditioners are all closed before I step into the interview room.. originally I thought the interview session is over dy *lunch time maybe? Luckily not or else I have to wait even longer -.- haha). The interview process took around 15 minutes for me.. I'm not really sure about the amount of competitors, there are like 4 interviewees waiting before my turn.. I guess the interview session has started since 9.. cuz when I reach the chancellor building, I went to the toilet first to change my clothes, I can see there are 2,3 people.. smart looking, wear ties waiting there already.

I'm coming to MMU~!!!!!!!!!!!!!

btw how's the uni hostel? 3 students per room? O.O
or should I rent outside :/

I asked a student today, he moved in into a single room alst year, rm380 per month (include electric&water.. and his room is quite small tbh... really small

pay by cash in 26/5..

btw finding a room mate to share a room (middle sized room 8 x 8 tiles) in cyberia block c1, rm250 include electric&water&internet(internet slow).. if you're interested u can pm me for photos n infos...
