Well, i can advice you one thing, just be your self, take care your attitude, think wide and be more open, you'll find good friends. I'm not sure what your problem but I have constantly faced racism around me a lot but I manage to turn few of those to be my best buddy and anyhow, changed them to be more open. Just don't be one of them, be your self, be open minded, else you are no better.

Finally my RA contract ended. Not going to renew.. erm both RA and RO can be funded from external funds. But doing part-time based on MMU policy you can only get paid for a maximum 12 days in a month with the rate depending on your RA/RO appointment contract (mine was quite petty). Labor claim must be done through GAMS.

THere's anotehr thing called as MMU-FGRS - Graduate Research Assistant for higher pay, not sure about it seems like post graduate students are to get this GRA position instead.

No RA doesn't need a degree cert for such position. The otherwise go for RO. The difference is your maximum pay rate is higher than RA. In my case as a part-time RA i was paid rm55 a day, maximum working days of 12 days per month. while my full time RO friend of mine had 2.1k per month.


Yea there're few undergrad getting RA, while MMU had offered me full time and to do master i dont think i'll be doing my postgrad in MMU.

You'll receive a staff ID once you have been appointed as RA/RO, but I didn't ask whether am I eligible for staff parking . And you'll be able to log into staff's ICEMS and, well I should not say whats in there haha.

My job was doing development on an Intel project as well as some paperwork. It depends on the assignments your lecturer gave you as well, sometimes i had to assist him in class teaching.

during my time taking that we need to do research and surveys. You'll need to prepare a set of questionnaires, collect the data from the surveys conducted, and analyze to generate report and present it in class.

Erm.. just wonder if I could just use my old car sticker on my new car for awhile ( I heard SSC is closed till wednesday? ). So troublesome whenever i want to drive in campus

Open day coming soon, i dont know how many people would come =.=.. last year's open day in CJ was kind of sad to see the amount of people come is kind of little (I was on FCI booth).

This Sunday will be showcasing some of my work again hopefully this year will be more entertaining lol..

Your case is similar like mine, I failed one unexpected subject during trimester 1 and had the subject requested for current short trimester right now(if not i had to wait for new academic year which will postpone my graduation to 2014..) . You don't need to wait for convocation to get your degree cert, you can request for it right after you passed all the requirements for graduations (completion of studies if i'm not mistaken) so you'll be able to apply for job. This is currently what I'm doing lol..

Yeah, I was there to showcase SEGD student projects (including my own) to potential students to come and join the games development course . Well.. it is my last contribution i guess, this is my last semester upon finishing my student life.
