After a while since topazzatech left us, his lil brother continue his legacy in bringing in the quite decent single sleeve for a cheap price, named Colortrail.
A forumer pm me asking if i can make him custom cables for his psu, Silverstone ST1000 Silver for his Bitfenix Prodigy build.
I only provide service for extension's sleeving only. However a long conversation we decided to order custom 18awg wires from Niclasteoh ( for 24pin, 8pin eps and 2 * 6pin pcie x 40cm long, male to male connector since i found that silverstone psu modular slots can be plug in using normal male psu connectors to the mobo and gpu (it share the same layout). The colors chose are dark blue and black (Colortrail sleeve) as requested by the owner.

Together with this i ll provide a simple guide on how to get even level for each heat shrink and to make sure that the sleeve stay inside the connector.

just simple 3 steps to have a even level of the heat shrinks.

first, the sleeve start after the pin end.u need to make sure that u heat the end of the sleeve to seal it using lighter.

for the heat shrink make sure it s not too close with the pin's L shape as shown in the picture.
1.5cm long of heat shrink is good enough, not too short and not too long.
Heat it up using heat gun or lighter to shrink the heat shrink just for 5 seconds, more or less.
if u use lighter make sure not to use the red flame but use the blue flame, else u will end up having a black heat shrinks.\(n_n")/.
make sure no flame contact with the sleeve.

after you done with the 1st wire or cable make it as a master "copy" and do not plug it yet into the connector.
the master 'copy' will be use a guide to make sure that u get even level of the heat shrinks for other wires too.
tag the master copy with anything u want to make sure that u will not change it with other sleeved wires.
take new cable with sleeve and heat shrink on it. try to level it as good as u can by referring to the master 'copy'.
Shrink it and the following by the other side.do it one by one if you are new in sleeving.

both of the sleeve and heat shrink can be plug in together inside the connector and the sleeve will not be easily taken off from the heat shrink.

as for me i still cant get a 100% perfect even heat shrink level but at least it looks good when u see it.LOL. whistling.gif doh.gif
This what u get at least after a hell of struggling with the wires, sleeve and heat shrinks.

Work done in 2 hours of time estimation.
it was quite hard since i need to rearrange the wires according/similar to the original psu's cables.
and the psu used 8pin pcie on the modular slot what i have is 6pin male connector.
after searching my lockers found 2 * 6+2 pin for pcie (male and female extender).
since i need the male only i connected the 6pin male pcie with 6+2 pin male pcie.
im really bad in electrical stuff so im not taking any chance of 'baking' my gpu.
after few minute struggling with the wires arrangement finally i completed it.

tested and it s working.

hahaha im not doing business bro.
the purpose of me doing it just to clear late topazzatale's old stocks + to help people out there who dont have time to sleeve their cables.
Good job anyways bro.keep it going.if u find something new like methods of easy unpin or anything do share with us.

Nice mod. Been long since I've touched or modded cases tongue.gif
Just an idea - have you tried braiding the cables? brows.gif You should have 1, sturdy cable in the end smile.gif

irie, ever done heat shrink-less sleeving before?

nope. there is a guide on how to do it.
can be done eventhough the wire had been crimped with the metal pins already.
