this sounds stupid and probably unrelated, but I'm planning on buying lens hood from ebay...wondering is there any tax to lens hood?

Seeing as this is my first time buying, I also wondering if there anything I should know when buying from oversea..

why buy lens hood from Ebay when you can buy locally?

more importantly, are the lens hood you intend to buy 3rd party or original?

Just want to test buying something cheap off ebay before i move to something expensive. lens hood cost 20-30 in malaysia, but it just 2 usd from ebay.
Its a 3rd party one.

If you just buy 1 lens hood and the price is cheap cheap, custom will not tax you, no worry.

got 1 time i bought lens hood from ebay... end up the price including shipping almost same as locally

luckily i dont get tax...

coz i heard a case before, someone bought blackbery from ebay and the item stuck with custom & sirim...so he need to clear the tax plus need to get approval from sirim that cost him around rm2xx for the sirim approval only...
