I like aquatic plants, but very hard to find one. Or rather, malas to go search for. Here not so many lfs selling aquatic plants. At times, i do play with various plants and put in my tank, just for the fun of it.

I used to put in betta tank also, the plant bought from lfs. Didnt last long as well, turned yellowish and rot. I was trying to do spawning experiment but failed



Plants i put in previous tetra tank. Didnt last long either.





A plant i picked from dried longkang (the one in the middle, with tiny leaves) . It wasnt aquatic plant at all, but i just put it in tank to admire its beauty

At wich part in the tank is the best place the submersible pump? At bottom? Stick on tank wall? Middle? Haha

actually,i feel submersible pump make water become warm coz heat from the pump...some fish not really comfortable wit warm water...

Yes, only half. Or maybe 60%.
Polys need surface more than height. And i dont have kamikaze polys and ropes so far.
I think low water level and floating plants chill them down.

Actually, dont want my hands to get itchy from touching them. I recall some ppl said that, but dunno exactly which sp of keladi can cause itchiness..

Too bad we're far, if not i might grab the offer before u could think twice   Actually i was thinking to put wild kiambang & teratai-like plants into turtle tank, but very lazy to get them. I think of wild keladi (like in pic) as well, but scared it will cause bad effect to my turtle, what do u think?

Keladi type plant if close to asap or heat will emit poisonous gas.
