Butterfly fish is delicate fish (read from a mag: told by breeder).
When a fish is fragile, i prefer species tank.

How did u hole the wares, by drill?

I like live plants in aquarium, but the maintenance wont be easy. Do the plants live long? I remember any plants i put in previous setups had finally became turtle's snack, all the time sweat.gif

The filter looks lightweight, nice job there.

Actually everything is ready for me to set up,just like Lego toys.
The difficult part is i had to figure which part goes to which set since i bought two sets.
My plants is ivy, 万年青 very durable. And i heard very strong " suction" when dealing with bio loads' toxin drool.gif
I used suction cups and cable ties to pull everything together. Some might submerged some might emerged.
When it turned yellow it's already 2 months. You can trim or just pull the whole thing out and put fresh.
Usually i just cut of the rotting part. If too botak then i taruh baru

I like aquatic plants, but very hard to find one. Or rather, malas to go search for. Here not so many lfs selling aquatic plants. At times, i do play with various plants and put in my tank, just for the fun of it.

Ulam Raja in aquarium. Oh yes my turtle loves ulam tongue.gif

I used to put in betta tank also, the plant bought from lfs. Didnt last long as well, turned yellowish and rot. I was trying to do spawning experiment but failed laugh.gif

Plants i put in previous tetra tank. Didnt last long either.

Hehe.. currently got only 1 aquarium operating, and 1 turtle tank. Still keep a number of small tanks (glass & plastic) in my store room, about 6-7 in different sizes. Dont think will operate all of them at the same time, really dont have much leisure time for that sweat.gif

Pasir a bit colourful? Haha.. yeah i think so.. but i just made use of something already in hand. BTW that was quite some time ago, now that tank i keep in store room only, reserve for future biggrin.gif Its good that i dont just dump things. Even those pasir i bought from lfs, i still keep them after cleaning up unused tanks. Now i have those colourful pasir, white, black and blue sands. I'm still looking for additional white sands for my turtle tank, but still cant find the right ones.

That small tetra tank was quite fun, because easy to clean up. Tetras also some sort of amusement. At the time i have 10 of neon and red tetras. They move fast and eat a lot! I dont think my former tetras were in good shape -because if u see them closely- most are bloatedly overweight! laugh.gif
