QUOTE(Jay Chua CC @ Jan 25 2013, 10:39 AM) Anybody experience having mosquito larvae suddenly appear in the bichir tank? There is water current and water is nt stagnant. How do i get rid of thm??? Hlppppp! Do your tank has cover? If no then add a cover, else, just add some fish like silver dollar or tin foil barb so that they will eat the mosquito larvae.

QUOTE(Jay Chua CC @ Jan 25 2013, 11:22 AM) Gt cover, bt the cover is lk net(gt holes). If add silver dollar, i sked it wil end up eaten by the bichirs. >< add a larger size of silver dollar, will be no problem. My tank got mix bichirs with silver dollar and tin foil barb, so far no problem.

QUOTE(Jay Chua CC @ Jan 27 2013, 11:17 PM) Will the fish pellets sucked into the pump ? Since it has a greater power. Yes, the fish pellets will be suck to the pump if the pump capable to suck it in. Buy a pump that has 5-6 times turnover rate for your tank volume. This is just a general rule, as there are many factors we need to consider like the height of the tank, the volume of the filter box and etc. Too high flowrate of the pump will only better for mechanical filtration but may not help in biological filtration and might cause overflow.

QUOTE(awansakti @ Feb 1 2013, 09:36 AM) Yup exactly. Every wednesday supply will come from selangor and go there first. Some wednesdays, i sebok2 with other lfs taukeh look at new batch of fish haha. The ampangan one sells aro, local river fish, gars, 1unsold arapaima now grown alot since i saw it the first time, crayfish/lobsters, cichlids, few FH, and can almost say never run out of feeder fish equipment wise i think the one in rahang and the one in seremban 2 garden homes (family store area there) are better kakarocht, ok i wait for update. already started to plan their replacement now hehe. had to get freq feeder supply cause the other day i couldnt find my delhezi! must be in one of their tummies.damn yup..every wednesday..the ampangan lfs got sell what kinds of feeder fish?? The rahang lfs pricing wise abit expensive, the one in seremban2 is the xiang long, chinese name same as xian leng, but is not related with xian leng, that shop very big, but the things there also not cheap. So far only the lfs in rasah and in sikamat has cheaper pricing. Seremban still got any lfs recommended?
