last week i bought 4ft x 2.5ft x 1.5ft  used tank .... now my gar and 2 rtc have good enaf space. but now have water cloudy problem .... anyone help me to give some idea ... can you show me any idea for diy water filter ? cause my new one look like not too strong for my tank ... and one other question, haw much money u guys spend to feed ur monster .... lagi besar ikan lagi banyak diut mengalir ....
Congrats for the purchase. The tank looks great, thou it might be difficult to search for the perfect size cover. About filter, i just changed from

- Sump filter (Power 75w - 4500L/Hour), but turn to Top Filter system because this time i want a super quiet environment.
- Top filter (Minimum power only 11w). Quiet and enough to control bio-load in my tank, but i want more circulation of water.
- Top filter (50w - 3500L/Hour). Quiet and powerful biggrin.gif (only i need a larger filter box to prolong media change, because now the wools become fast clogged due to heavy filtering job)

In my case, to control water quality is one thing, but to deal with noise is one other thing. Even small small thing matters, but the result worths all the difficulties, in the end.

I love it when my fishes getting stable and comfortable with new environment. Weeks ago i was a bit worried that Aragorn was being picky about food. Now i'm very happy that he seems to adapt very well with new place, filtering system and the whole setup. I can clearly see from his swimming posture and how he reacts to me everytime i come close. Tonite i feed him 11 crickets and he's still begging for more biggrin.gif

Fish logic:

I just fed you two huge @ss lampam, your tummy is bulging, and yet you still chase all those tiny guppies and gulp them down.

Fish, now how can you still be hungry?
