I came across some thread in China forums that they go to the extend that fixing burn controller themselves by replacing with new controller(some of them asking from the manufacturers of their boards and they get them). I must say nice skills and knowledge they had there. Controllers having many tiny pins, and it is hard to get them done without messing it up. A little bit of soldering iron left can lead to short circuit and the new controller probably gone again.

Some others even more hardcore, purposely buy those faulty boards/PCB and revive or made new boards from them. sohardcore.jpg

changed USB cable = no response
