does anyone sell max keyboards in malaysia?
*
Currently, nope.

Personally don't like the key layout, non standard modifiers sweat.gif

HOHOH anti mainstream customers, not surprising. There's people buying Cherry instead of Proton/Toyota too! laugh.gif
*
Actually my parents bought the Cherry Tiggo a few years ago lol. Not really nice also, parts easy broken sweat.gif

Hey you gotta admit that Logitech g series keyboards were the hottest stuff before mechanical keyboards came back to the market. Then there is Steel series and Razer. Only people who'd done messing with these stuff would go back to classic, solidly built, no gimmick, mechanical keyboard. Gotta give these guys a break too laugh.gif market transition doesn't happen overnight hehe.

On a side note, what are the shops that people hope to see more mechanical keyboard being available? Doesn't seem like there are too many stores knowing how to sell them or have demo. It's kinda sad
*
We need more good boards too, so we can have some better choices as well sad.gif
I am still sad about my Filco. sad.gif

QUOTE(Human10 @ Oct 30 2012, 01:31 PM)
They are made by "Kai Hua", "kailh switch" to be exact. Some who own Rapoo V1 say that they broke the stem on it.

use a while then 开花 already. brows.gif

I lubed some Cherry switches (sliders + springs) and stabilizers with Krytox GPL 205 grease yesterday: http://goo.gl/dzkjv

user posted image

I used a very small paint brush to apply the Krytox. The switches are now super smooth.
*
Oh thank you for sharing this.
Which part exactly on the stabilizer did you apply the lube? Is it the plastic hook that holds the metal wire?

Also, is it easy to reach for the friction point that we need to lubricate if the keyboard is plate mounted? hmm.gif

If you have a close look at the pics, the parts that were lubed are:

1. The metal bar where it meets the two hooks (remember to grease enough because the bar can move from side to side);
2. The secondary plastic stems where they meet their housing (it's like a rectangle looking from the top). These are actually very loose, so I doubt they cause significant friction but since I was it, I thought I must as well lube this as well. No harm done.

Of course, I also greased the switch sliders and springs too.

Even if this were plate mounted, I doubt I'd have any trouble reaching the parts where I need to apply the grease. I used a small (1-2 mm) brush with hairs about 0.5 cm in length. I could even slide the hairs between the metal bar and the plastic hooks.
*
I see. Since I can't open up the switch housing and don't have appropriate lube for switch, I will just lube the stabilizers only smile.gif
Now I only need a small brush or something similar...

i also have a bad experience with this shop when i preorder diablo 3 from them last time  vmad.gif

but indeed, they have a nice offer on their filco
*
I would agree that they offer the lowest price for their Filco keyboards.
But after that incident, I think I wouldn't mind to pay a little bit more for a better service.

bro, you left out toxic green and ice blue.

Personally find that mionix zibal green and deck legend ice blue are nice and less mainstream.

Btw, white led indeed is the best backlit color. Good for those who want a clean backlit board.

Added on November 2, 2012, 8:43 am
lol, just noticed the price after u mention. The only tkl board that priced above RM400 I think is ducky year of dragon.
*
Come to think of it, backlit with PBT keycaps, priced at somewhere lower than Ducky Year of the Dragon... Sounds good but still I feel the price is quite steep... sweat.gif
