QUOTE(HoNeYdEwBoY @ Dec 11 2012, 01:00 PM) Definitely good to get, I just got my brown switches one, white LED. Feels not as solid as the QFR, but the standard is pretty high. Good quality. I'd say go for it, but the LED depends on the switches you choose, red- red led, blue - blue led, except brown, brown is white LED. |

QUOTE(kellefe @ Dec 12 2012, 08:37 PM) Guys, try to search around for MX Blue with blue backlit , looking into Razer mech keyboard but only green backlit now... I must say it's definitely one of those keyboards that has high quality and low costing, just like rosewill. I am typing on a quickfire TK now, but it's brown switch with white LED. You won't be disappointed, trust me. found CM Quickfire TK , with the very budget price, just wonder why the price is so low compare to other mech keyboard which is price range from 400+ onward. Btw, do anyone know WHen Quickfire TK will be launch at M'sia... I'm not sure when will the QFR TK will be released, but most likely it will be soon, maybe you can PM heavyarm bro or something. |

QUOTE(yewMP5 @ Dec 13 2012, 10:11 PM) How much you bought that? Hmm, then brown would be for you, it still has tactile but a lot more silent, but not as loud as blue. Yes I am using brown switch, bought it at 90$, I live in Australia. That's a brown switch? I dunno which are better, brown or blue. Brown is the silent blue switches version right? I want got click click sound but not too loud. Brown is like total silence? QUOTE(zongeva @ Dec 14 2012, 07:41 PM) At least the price is cheaper than SteelSeries 7G, no? and, why don't you get a rosewill? why would you want to specially buy a g2pro just for partial backlit? Trigger is good but Heavyarm only has red and black switch, if I am not mistaken. There are still good full keyboard out there, I have been told by one of the gh member carrying ducky from taiwan recommend not to get anymore ducky keyboards, their quality has dropped ever since 9008g2. to the guy. There are still pretty good keyboards out there. If you want quality, you can go for better quality keyboard, like a Das 2, there was a Das 2 sold for 50$ in GH which has better quality than most of the keyboards out there nowadays. unless you want bling... then the answer is pretty easy. Added on December 14, 2012, 7:54 pm QUOTE(kellefe @ Dec 14 2012, 08:47 PM) Anyone know CM Quickfire TK released in Msia ? shouldn't be very expensive, it only costs 95$ only over here in australia, which goes to around RM330 perhaps?Asked heavy arm but no news about it... What's the price then... Seems very good design with numpad combined with arrow key... Not the less backlit looks cool ! But lack of USB port and audio jack like blackwidow... Dilemma between two... QUOTE(zongeva @ Dec 14 2012, 09:26 PM) Oh yeah, forgot Rosewill already lol yeah, I know. meant no hard feelings. no reliable source to confirm my statement, but you'll know, I do feel that the ducky shine feels a bit flimsy compare to my 9008g2, i sold it shortly after i bought it, then last week i was thinking of getting a yotd, contacted the taiwan supplier and he recommended me not to get it, and told me there are better brands are there if i prefer quality.About the Ducky quality, any reliable source to confirm your statement? So far I had been reading good feedbacks about the boards. I am using one myself too, and so far didn't find any problem except the feel of Cherry style stabilizer (or satellite switch), but that's just a personal preference and I am sure I will get used to it after a couple months of usage. Anyway, it wasn't me who want to buy a new board, I was just suggesting a fellow forumer with some choices popped in my mind that time. I won't be getting anymore keyboard after this as my wallet is screaming already |

QUOTE(zongeva @ Dec 14 2012, 10:03 PM) Hmm, it feels solid for me though, but I don't have any old DK9XXX series to compare it side by side, plus my Filco MX Blue switch already died and gone months ago so I kinda forget how it feels, lol i dont think switches has anything to do with quality.. they uses the same cherry switches. it's the board quality, pcb and all of those that matters.Only has one QuickFire Rapid with MX Red with me, but it is hard for me to compare the quality between keyboards with two different switches lol. |

QUOTE(CyntrixTech @ Dec 14 2012, 10:25 PM) The only G2Pro that is WORTH buying is the G2Pro PBT TKL. G2 Pro itself is not a SKU that's going to be worth selling in Malaysia. The RK9100 is RM 20 more but gives you 2 years warranty and full backlit. Why'd anybody buy the G2 Pro for RM 20 less? This. Added on December 14, 2012, 9:47 pm QUOTE(Human10 @ Dec 14 2012, 10:33 PM) [Insert Keycool/other random China brands] Recommended me of some older cherry boards, das, CM, and... "ba dm tss" KMAC, since I already own a kmac, I went ahead and bought a CM QFR TK brown switches, dem white LEDs yo! I'm currently hunting for Das 2 and dolch keyboard.. no one wants to separate those pac 64 dolches.. Added on December 14, 2012, 9:37 pm LOL, mine share what "better brand" that guy is suggesting? I am seriously interested to know what a ducky supplier will suggest... Added on December 14, 2012, 9:40 pm Sounds legit from both the perspective of supplier and customer. QUOTE(Human10 @ Dec 14 2012, 11:00 PM) DAS is a Costar board, but is it still in production/market? Those new boards from KBT (ONI/bluetooth) win the bet of those mainland Chinese for non-China made boards. More features/values, Costar made yet priced quite reasonably or more affordable than Filco. The Das 2 I'm talking about, is a version of a cherry gaming keyboard which still exists today. For CM, I think we all know that CM QFR is no doubt the winner in term of TKL boards suggestion, followed by Trigger as backlit board with macros. The QF TK is still relatively new and we not sure if it will having any problems(cause other boards made by the same factory(predicted, waiting for your pictures for further confirm it) - Corsair K60/90 and Logitech G710 tends to having some random weird flaws), so some more times and wider user-base will tell if it is a good board. Somemore, if possible, I will try to avoid boards with weirder/abnormal layout after my previous experience with BWU as it is really pain in ass to find replacement especially for the spacebar(seriously, 6X/7X spacebar is still possible to be found at the price of some fee, but the 6.5X spacebar is almost impossibru to be found without some special bulk for it... KMAC, KMAC. Custom keyboard is something completely on another level I thought? LOL. I thought Dolch normally for DS harvesting only? LOL. Added on December 14, 2012, 10:03 pm You probably need some lubricants for it. If not, try source around if there are any compatible replacement of it from other brands, cause I personally never tried ducky's one b4, but other brands(like the PLUM96, Cherry G80-3800 or some random old Cherry board which I used for switch harvesting purpose) never really give me any awkward feel to type on. For that CM QFR TK, I'll post a pic of the mod ASAP for you. =) KMAC does have very good aluminium body and dat korean customization.. is awesome. People hunt dolches for their keycaps? Such shame. The keyboard quality is better than most trash keyboard that comes out nowadays. It has vintage blues. |

QUOTE(Human10 @ Dec 15 2012, 02:40 AM) Seems like keyboardco also had them. That explains why the mod looks so similar to g710+ http://www.keyboardco.com/keyboard_details.asp?PRODUCT=1017 Added on December 15, 2012, 1:43 amBTW, a cool list bout oems and boards, though the legibility is not too sure, so just take it with a pinch of salt. http://geekhack.org/index.php?PHPSESSID=u6...2&topic=37861.0 And lastly Carter spilled out that QF TK actually came from same OEM as Logitech G710(which also mean same as Corsair K60/90) Btw CM QFR TK has a very weird FN + wn key |
